This tool is worth every penny. Yes, it's easy to use. The hardest thing is to get the full angle in one smooth turn. But that's not the tool's fault. I love this tool

Yes. It does degrees. I have not used that feature yet but can see that you can set it for degrees.

how to remove the battery cover?

The batteries are inserted through the bottom of the handle after the cap is removed by twisting counter clockwise.
