Dry mouth is seriously annoying and unhealthy, causing one to be prone to tooth decay. If my mouth is dry at night, it disturbs my sleep. Placing one of these discs in my mouth before I go to sleep usually does the trick. If I forget, I often awaken because my mouth is dry--highly effective. They are a little pricey if used daily, so I sometimes cut them in half to stretch the inventory. They stick to your gum, which makes them easy to use. They are about the size of a pea, and one will generally keep the mouth moist overnight.

I had nose surgery in my late teens and the result is that the inside of my nose is pretty closed up. Been struggling for at least 2 years not being able to breathe through my nose at night and ending up with terrible dry mouth while I sleep. It wakes me up multiple times a night to either have to drink water or spray in special mouth moisturizer. Honestly it’s been so bad that I’ve scheduled nose reconstruction surgery because I cannot sleep properly and it’s miserable. I randomly came on Amazon hoping there might be a better spray than what I have. These tablets have changed my life in 5 days. I stick one of these things to my gum after I brush my teeth before bed and I sleep through the night with no moisture issues. I honestly can’t believe it. It’s WONDERFUL. I am so grateful. I only wish I knew about these 2 years ago. By the time I wake up the tablet has melted away. I generally sleep about 8 hours a night and one tablet gets me through. If you suffer from dry mouth during the night, these could give you back your sleep. If I needed this during the day, I’m not sure I’d like them as much as there’s quite a big bump inside your mouth when you first stick the tablet in. Looks odd, but since I’m sleeping who cares!!! Absolutely, shockingly fantastic.

I've had dry mouth issues for years. Earlier this year, I developed what has been diagnosed as "burning mouth syndrome" possibly due to long-term and untreated dry mouth issues. I tried everything. Then my dentist recommended this product and now I use it whenever I'm suffering. Unlike every other product, this ACTUALLY lasts for hours (unless you keep touching it with your tongue, then it will only last about an hour). For the price and the amount of time it lasts, and the positive effect it has after it's used up, I can't recommend anything more. NOTE: if you look at the price per tablet on this page, it says $0.45 per count. That's incorrect because this is a 2-pack but the site seems to not understand it so it counts it as 1 pack. It's actually $0.22 per, the cheapest anywhere for the same package.

I use this product as suggested by the company. It rests k my gum or dentur and helps my mouth stay moist during the night.

These have been a lifesaver for me sleeping at night. I have recently gotten terrible dry mouth at night and it was waking me up constantly. These get me through most of the night (probably about 5-6 hours) without waking up and I'm so grateful. I've also never choked on one, which was a concern when I bought them--they really do stay put. For anyone who wears a mouth guard at night, you can use these with one (or at least the one I have). The tablet still fits against my gums above the night guard and functions there. Probably doesn't function quite as well as without a night guard, but it doesn't rule these out. The mild mint flavor is truly mild and just ever so slightly sweet, but they don't have much taste to me, which I appreciate.

Xerostomia, dry mouth, regardless of the causation is a very difficult condition to compensate for or treat. Mints, lozenges, cough drops, etc. were very damaging to my teeth. Most "gum" products included sugar and also were damaging to my teeth. Most of these products were not suited to use during the night. However, xylimelts have been very effective at stimulating saliva through the night. I insert 2, one on either side of my mouth, when I am ready to sleep. They usually last through the night, in spite of the extra stress of my CPAP appliance. I am very grateful for these. I have usually purchased these locally, but they have become much more expensive. So, I have recently purchased them through Amazon at about half the price. Also, although I dislike chewing gum, xylichew has been very efficacious at counteracting my dry mouth during the day. They offer several flavors and the size is "small" but sufficient.
