Bought this to replace a missing piece on my craftsman mechanics tools set.

I love this extension.
I'll start this off by saying I'm a mechanic and am rough on tools for one. I owned this specific extension for well over 5 years. I ended up loosing it while working on a job I was distraught. Luckily I found they still made it. The 3inch is super versatile. It's literally the right size for certain jobs where a 1.5/2inchs to small and a 4inch is to large. You'd be surprised how often this one is exactly what you need. It takes a beating and can't beat the $5
