Can these be used to contain acetone? I've had other cups melt quickly.

I filled one with acetone and let it sit for two hours.  When I dumped out the solvent and felt the inside of the cup it was not tacky or sticky.  There appeared to be no softening of the cup at all.

Do these have raised markings on the inside or outside? Mixing anything with raised markings on the inside sucks..

Answers to this question have been a little ambiguous. Markings are raised either on the outside or the inside; in most cases, the outside of the cup is smooth while the inside is bumpy on account of the markings. This interferes with scraping the inside of the cup with a mixing stick. I was pleased to find that these cups have markings raised on the outside, leaving a smooth inside surface--except for slight depressions in the inside wall opposite the raised markings on the outside. That doesn't bother me, as I feel I can mix the contents better; but as Mysie Cairns commented, these depressions can interfere with accurate delivery.It's amazing that we can be so fussy about little measuring cups, but I'm as guilty as the rest of you.

could you please provide the actual measurements of this product, I need it to fit inside a 1.5" w x 1.5" deep pot. Thank you.

The measurements you need are not compatible with the measurements of these plastic cups....width of bottom is only 1"....width of top is 1.75"....the depth of the cup is 1.25".  If you use it for what it is intended, it works just fine.  Sticking the plastic cup in a 1.5" x 1.5" pot will not work.  Thank you.
