Don't depend on it being a fresh product ( check the batch code).
This is a good urethane chalk. Unlike latex chalks, it does not shrink and crack. As noted by other reviewers, it will dry-up in tube and the customer has no way of knowing if you are buying a fresh product since there is no manufacture date or expiration date.UPDATE: January 11, 2019: I contacted the manufacture to determine if product is within the useable date. They said this product is only good within one year of the manufacture date which can be determined by the (batch code) which is on every tube. The batch code is located at the bottom outside of tube or the inner metal cap. The code usually starts with 3R- and a series of four numbers. The first number represents the year, if it is an 8 it means year 2018. The next three numbers ( 1 thru 365) is the day of the year it was manufactured.I ordered a tube in 2018 that was 7 months old and it was so far gone that it would barely push out of the tube. I thought a would take a chance and ordered another tube this month and it was 9 months old and in worse shape than the previous tube. I was able to get a refund on this last tube.I believe the one year shelf life is only if item is stored at room temperature. If item is stored in a hot warehouse during summer months, the shelf life is more like six months.

Fresh and Worked Perfect
I ordered this to seal up a poorly done basement drain following a disaster. I had 2 feet of water in my basement because the house flippers did a crap job. As a result, I was tasked with fixing their mistake. A lot of reviewers had received old product or product that was already solid. Mine arrived fresh and worked to properly seal up the cracks in my cement floor around the new drain that I had installed. The home is over 100 years old so the basement concrete has to be at least that old as well. It had no problems holding and properly sealing everything off. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone needing to do work on porous surfaces because this holds up like a champ.

Very good quality caulking. Watch out for dried up or partially dried up tubes
I have used this product on concrete block foundation cracks, chimney cracks, windows, wood siding and more. It is very good quality caulking. I know industrial new construction companies use this brand. One tube I received was dried out so be prepared to deal with that. I was able to heat it up to make it a little more pliable. The first tube I had came out fine. This stuff fully dries in about 2 days it seems. I did paint it and it is paintable. Fully cures in a week. Can also use fully submerged in water.

I have read that epoxy is not good for fixing things that will experience lots of vibrations
I used it to repair a broken button on a toy because manufacturer refuse to sell me replacement part because somehow I might injure myself replacing a broken button. Anyway I needed something that would bond plastic to tin/aluminum and would hold up to lots of vibration because my child likes to pound on the buttons. I have read that epoxy is not good for fixing things that will experience lots of vibrations. The repair is holding up well. This stuff is thick and I had to use a high thrust ratio (18:1) caulk gun to dispense it. I used the remainder to seal cracks in the patio cement. Very useful.

Excellent!
I used this to seal a joint on my steel porch where the steel meets the wood along a 30' span. NO LEAKS. Woks great. This stuff sticks and seals on wood, steel, plastic, conctete, stucco, etc. The only thing it won't seal on is air, water, or dirt. LOL. AWESOME product.

Doesn't go far, and now we both know.
Lost 1/2 of a star because one tube only went 5 feet while I was filling a 1/4 to 1/2 inch crack between the base of my metal building and the asphalt. Got 4.5 stars because it sealed the 'big holes' better than anything else. Just make sure you use enough of it to fill it all in.

Best caulking compound that I've ever used
I've used tons and tons of caulks in my day. This is the only kind that actually lasts. I use it on my roof and outside and it holds up for years without cracking or peeling as long as you make sure you clean the surface from oils. It's the only caulk I use when I need a caulk that works.

😔
After a few days it hardens. Ran before that happened. Used it to seal my camper windows. Looks like a child did it. I'll have to go back and trim it off. Done in shade mid morning warm day but not Hot !
