Needs a LOT of pressure.
The product itself is perfect. The hardest part of these scroll wheels is getting a decent consistent impression. If your leather isn't cased properly ( completely soak the leather and allow to dry enough that the top grain has a mostly dry look to it) you will have issues. I've found it easier to lightly tap the top of the wheel with a rubber mallet as you roll to get a deeper and more consistent mark.

It didn't leave as clear a mark as I thought it would even after preparing the leather. It shows better on the finished side but I think I should have got the stamp that you use a mallet with instead of this wheel for my project.
