This was a Christmas present and I'm super happy with it. It has everything I need to start leatherworking, and having it's own little case makes it a great little kit. Very happy!

You have to buy a hammer but the leather kit is very good well recommended

Good to start with.
As a complete beginner in leather crafting, I was a bit overwhelmed with what was in the case. Not tried any yet, but for a beginner the items looks and feels alright. Just one piece felt cheap in comparison to the rest, but I can live with that.

Fantastic bit of kit!
This kit is excellent. I'm very new to leather work but have experience in similar hobbies. This kit has everything you need to get started and works really well. All tools are good quality. The sharp bits are nice and sharp and almost effortless to use. Everything in the box was properly packaged and protected. The only draw back that I have found so far is that they used a lot of plastic wrapping thing up to protect them during transport - would have been better if it had a foam insert.

A good basic set of tools for leather work
Case was not as advertised. Stated as leather but was standard plastic tool box with no sections. Could do with a basic leatherwork manual to get started. Still to use tools

Everything you need to get started
Comprehensive kit that contains everything a beginner will need for simple repairs or basic projects. The only thing I'd add immediately is a light (4oz) hammer. The box should be regarded as an 'extra' as it's not the sturdiest thing going. A biscuit tin or Tupperware box is more sturdy and holds more. Some of the multifunction tools (edger/groover/beveller) will work on light leather but should be replaced with specialist tools further down the line. This kit will get you started and give beginners the chance to decide what works best and upgrade accordingly
