When I couldn't find my old malagueta hot sauce anymore, I discovered Legal. This is my third bottle, and I still love it. It's a good heat, one I would compare to ghost pepper but with better flavor and less "choke," I guess you'd say. Lively and tasty: Hot sauce fans should definitely try it.

This hot sauce has become my "Go to" for almost everything. It has the great flavor of a spicier hot sauce without being overly spicy.

Very tasty sauce with extra heat on my cooked chicken. This sauce tastes like higher grade cayenne peppers favored.

This sauce has a traditional aged malagueta pepper flavor that pairs perfectly with feijoada or any Brazilian-style beans and rice or seafood dish. If you've poured a spicy, salty vinegar from a bottle full of little red peppers, but can't find those malaguetas near you, or if you just prefer the pouring control and texture of a proper hot sauce, this stuff is pefect.

tastes like a combination of styrofoam and the smell you get when spraying dust off into the air DISGUSTING, also from the date received they were expiring in 3 months which is a pretty short amount of time for hot sauce

I ordered the 3-heat level variety pack and was surprised to only find 2 bottles of "Hot Hot" in the box. Being a non-returnable item, I had to talk to Amazon customer support for a refund.It's not very cool of the seller to send something that isn't as advertised, especially when it isn't returnable....As for the sauce, it's pretty good, but not the best malagueta sauce I've had. The heat level is good (but not overpowering, which is something I love about malagueta peppers), but the malagueta flavor was less pronounced than I was hoping for. Maybe it has something to do with the carrot pulp?I was looking forward to having a mild sauce to use in recipes for my family, but I guess I'm going to be the only one enjoying the sauces.The sauce itself is a solid 4.5 stars, but the rating gets dinged due to receiving the wrong items.

Holy crap this is a bad ass hot sauce, I've never even heard of the pepper before which surprised me. Also the story is pretty cool. I have a collection of hot sauces ranging from mainstream Taco Bell (love the flashbacks of being young and tipsy in the drive through at 2am haha), to strange local sauces I've found traveling, to my go-to: the almighty Tabasco! I have to say though, I'm a Tabasco convert. The heat is a little less than Tabasco but it's not about the heat, the flavor here is a new one for me. So far I've only tasted it on my fingers (repeatedly) and now a hamburger and can't wait to try it all allllll of the foods! This will be a constant staple to my collection. You have to try this.
