HPC Fire Round Stainless Steel Fire Pit Burner (FRS-24HC-NG), 24-Inch, High Capacity, Natural Gas

This is the fire ring to use if you have sufficient gas supply and want a very high output. I installed a separate 2 inch gas line from my meter direct to the fire ring in my stone firepit. The heat output is substantial.Gas pockets below the ring will result in flare ups of gas bubbles that can be substantial.It is important to have very little air space or gaps below the fire ring. I filled my fire pit with sand to about 1 inch below the ring so gas pockets do not form in lava rock. Lava rock cover the ring with a few inches. This arrangement works well.

It puts out a nice flame. Combined with a 3/4" HC valve, the flame is more than I need. It's a nice product.
