Had a dodgy Bluetooth connection between my top end Samsung 2023 TV and my Sony headphones and Samsung ear buds which kept dropping out and loosing sync, this great little box has solved that, easy to setup, reconnects with no effort and has boosted volume levels so saves on the battery in the headphones / earbuds as you can have the volume on lower on these, great device would recommend for sure.

The past few weeks I've bought cheaper versions of this type of product mainly something where you just plug a usb stick into your TV. The problem with those type of products is they can work but with wireless headphones like mine, there is no way to turn up the sounds so you end up with an output where it's incredibly quiet or inaudible if you like eating crisps whilst watching a film like me.I've just unpacked this, watched the tutorial and within 10 minutes I've set this up and got it working. I have Bluetooth Sony earbuds and testing the sound volume ans it's perfect. Thank you much for creating a product that actually works and for solving my frustration with this. Would 100% recommend this product and well worth the investment. The fact that you have to plug this into a power source is further suggestion that it has been designed correctly for maximum output.Don't waste your money with other cheaper product variations. Buy this!

Don’t normally write reviews; been seeking a unit to work with Apple AirPods as the most comfortable ‘headphones’ to use. Amazed at how this was a plug and go with instant pairing and working over the 3.2 mm audio cable. Sound quality as food as tv speakers or inexpensive sound bar. No background noise when on mains or from TV. If the sound bar is used simultaneous (for my wife whilst I use AirPods to compensate for my slight deafness) there is a very very slight latency echo which strangely enhances the ease of listening to speech. The volume control on TV adjusts volume to AirPods whilst the sound bar connected by optical cord has its own separate volume control so works independently. Interesting plug the audio link into a reasonable quality Denon audio unit and that works and with good quality sound. I suspect others are looking for a solution to allow use of Apple AirPods to provide enhanced hearing aid and this review is for them rather than those seeking perfect quality audio.

Following the collapse of my TV's Bluetooth I was faced with a costly repair bill and the inconvenience of sending the set away for some time. As such, I researched an alternative 3rd party transmitter to pair my headphones with and opted for this product.It's brilliant! It arrived within 48n hours as promised, simple to install and the clairity of sound is excellent. Highly recommended

Bought this to link my TCL tv (which doesn’t have Bluetooth) to my Bluetooth soundbar. The set up was pretty easy and the device did put the sound through my soundbar and seemed great. But there was way to much lag in the sound between the people speaking on the tv and the sound coming from the soundbar. Turning the device off then back on seems to re-sync the sound better but it does lose it again after. While? Maybe it’s down to my equipment not having the aptx to decode the sound fast enough?

I bought the Avantree transmitter to connect my new Sennheiser HD450BT wireless headphones to my old (but still very good) Panasonic TV via the headphone socket (AUX) so that I could listen to programmes late at night without disturbing my sleeping wife. I nearly went for an RF transmitter rather than Bluetooth but reviews mentioned the white noise you get with RF. No such issues with Bluetooth and because the transmitter and headphones are Qualcomm aptX LL (low latency) compatible there are no lip sync issues at all watching TV. I also like to listen to my football team's midweek matches on the radio (while watching TV of course!) so I disconnect the transmitter from the TV and connect to my old portable radio and hey presto - I'm listening to the football on my headphones! Just under £50 well spent on a very clever and very small piece of tech. Well done Avantree!

Paired with my old headphones no problem, audio keeps in sync and has a volume control as a bonus. The audio quality is also a step up from the old model. It has a number of connection options so it should work with just about any tv.

Save yourself hours of frustration, just don't buy it.This works well once it has finally paired, but if you get new headphones & try to pair them, expect to spend hours trying to get it to work.The manual is terrible & the lights show colours that are not in the manual.Their support are beyond useless & basically just send you a link to the manual, which, as previously stated, is terrible & no help at all if you encounter any issues; their website support section, the same, about as useful as a chocolate teapot.Am about to take a hammer to mine, as this is probably the most satisfaction that I will ever get from it (having purchased new headphones).
