This is my second Ear Band-It Swimming Headband...the first finally wore out. It serves two purposes (1) it keeps water out of my ears and (2) it holds my waterproof MP3 player on my head (near, but not on my ears) while I do my pool exercises. I'm really happy with it.

I didn't need something to cover my ears, but I was looking for something to protect my hairline from getting wet and reverting (natural, flat ironed, AA hair) without having to do an entire hair routine just to get in the pool.This band *mostly* meets my needs. It pretty much covers my hairline and the material does act as a water barrier. It's not perfectly protected but I doubt anything is- especially for me, as I have a low hairline.I would like to see this product but only as a hairband; instead of the flaps for the ears, have the ear space carved out so they and fits behind the ears.I know there are other bands out there and I haven't tried them; I will admit that the color option available (which isnt available with a lot of other brands swim bands) helped me to make my choice to buy this product.

I've been having ear issues since I started swimming again. I thought the Ear Band-it might be the trick. I bought the adult size band. I've only used it once so far, but it seems to work great. I had ear plugs in, a bathing cap on, and I put the Ear Band-it over both. So far no water in my ears. I hope this will be the solution. Thank you!

I bought two of these for my son when the head bands he has used for 7-9 yrs wore out. I was pleased with the selection of sizes and colors. I son keeps one at home and the other in his gym locker at college. He says the head band keeps his ear plugs in and therefore his ears dry.

These were a comfort over nothing but was not that effective keeping the water out. I recommend wax. Not as quick and easy but much more effective

it actually pushed even more water into my ears. I got an ear tube in my right ear a few weeks ago and was looking for something to help me keep water out of my ear while showering. since it is tight and absorbent, the water caught in the headband pushed into both ears and even made it passed the ear plug I was wearing. it's also entirely too big, washing my hair around it was near impossible maybe it's OK for swimming above water but definitely not for showers
