Five Stars. Excellent customer service experience with Trekology. I purchased the Trek-Z Cork Grip Trekking Poles to assist when trail running longer distances. I was trail running & slightly bent one of the poles (totally my fault). I contacted customer service & asked if I could purchase a section of one pole to fix the bent pole. Customer service sent me a new replacement set of poles. I bent the pole on a Saturday & had the new set on a Friday. Excellent experience. Despite the mishap, the poles are really durable. No slipping with the locks at the length adjustments. The poles are lightweight aluminum and easy to fold/unfold while on the run. The grip feels natural and since the grips are cork, they don’t get slippery from sweat. When running, I store the poles in my Salomon quiver for easy reach when I need them. The pole fit perfectly in the quiver. The quiver is attached to my running vest. I’ll continue using these poles and recommend them. They are a great value for the money.

As stated in the product description, these poles offer every feature a traveler needs who requires an easily assembled pair of poles that. have no loose parts to lose (except interchangeable tips for special terrain requirements, which are supplied and very convenient for any typical situations). Once broken-down, the packed poles will easily fit in any suitcases or backpacks (even some briefcases like the Tumi line) that can accommodate a folding umbrella. They are extremely light and sturdy aluminum construction and the hand grip is dense but comfortable cork. I believe these should suffice for active short and long distance walkers with most surface conditions. They will not meet the needs of serious hikers who will want to have support in climbing or very steep icy conditions, or in deep water or rocky, flowing stream beds. Also probably not suitable for the 300+ lb hiker. Once assembled, despite the light construction they have a well engineered, firm locking system that offers audible feedback (distinct click) to verify critical connections have been made securely. Ther assembled poles have virtually no flex or give. The only issue was with the condition of my delivery , due to the quality of the shipping box. The flimsy cardboard container was also the shipping container, and had clearly disintegrated during transport with secure extra taping added during transit that made it deliverable. Lu,ckily no parts were lost or damaged, and it impressed me that the construction of the product itself was completely unaffected by the rough trip, exactly the sort of rugged equipment needed for the active traveler.

Exactly as described. Nice design, easy to us, store, and carry. Great price point, light weight, and easy to collapse, but sturdy. The poles come in a nice storage bag with a variety of tips for your poles, so you can adjust to the different types of terrain. The collapsed poles fit nice in my hiking pack and also have sturdy hand/wrist straps if you want to carry them. If you get stuck on the functionality, watch the easy to follow videos for setting the proper height, and locking in and collapsing the poles. This will help to prevent injury and ensure proper use.

Easy to assemble and to break down. Sturdy but light weight. Cork handles comfortable to use. I am very pleased with this product! I have been walking without poles and these really help with my balance and overall workout (I can feel it in my upper body) and my stride length has improved. I have only had them a short time but, so far so good

Finally great quality trekking poles for a reasonable price. Feel sturdy and reliable without unexpected collapsing or bending. Love the extension feature. I’m 6” and can easily adjust them to my height. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Very impressed with these light-weight and very strong Hiking Poles, as I recently hiked and CLIMBED DOWN AND THEN BACK UP a very difficult HIGH DIFFICULTY Trail to a waterfall in Puerto Rico. I absolutely could not have made it down, let alone back up without the assistance of these very sturdy poles; that then easily fold into a small bag. I weigh around 290 lbs! I now use them for walking around my hilly urbanization roads that are asphalt as they do help give you that extra PUSH and stability. Plus a great defense against any aggressive animal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE POLES TO ALL. I WAS NOT COMPENSATED FOR THIS REVIEW!!!

As BKA prosthesis survivor, these trekking poles are wonderful. Very compact and should travel well. Love their collapsible design and easy to use No longer use a cane when walking on trails and uneven ground.

These poles are great! I needed a pair to travel OS with and be able to pack down for the travel, but still be sturdy and able to handle rough terrain. These are great poles, they pack down and assemble easily and very straightforward. They're strong and handled technical, steep and rocky terrain, as well as gentle grassy areas. The cork grips and wrist handles are great, they're light and also stylish and the bag and added fittings are also great. The mud caps worked a treat, and the spikes held the ground and rocks well. I couldn't have been happier with this purchase and will be buying more for Christmas gifts.

They fit in hand luggage and backpacks and assemble in seconds. We travel very light and hike in quite rugged country. I slipped and one stick held me and even though it bowed by about six inches it sprang back into shape and is still in perfect condition. I weigh just over 100kg so take some stopping when gravity beckons. Highly recommend these poles!

got to say this is really good just like what everyone else says. too many out there but just get this. the ONE hiking stick to use.

Me gustaron mucho estos bastones de senderismo, son cómodos, ligeros, plegables, fáciles de guardar y transportar, su construcción sólida, bien terminados, diseño atractivo y traen varios accesorios para usar en función del terreno que 'vayas a atacar'. Hace casi medio año sufrí un esguince severo de tobillo, y los he usado no como equipo ortopédico sino como apoyo para caminar estable y seguro, y me han parecido fabulosos. Seguramente cuando me recupere totalmente los disfrutaré aún más en las travesías de fin de semana. Muy recomendables para los entusiastas del 'outdoors' !

These are great trekking poles featuring ease to fold, adjustability, lightweight & stable. There is one issue, while trekking in snow, the snow basket tip came off. I noticed the snow baskets are screwed on & must be checked regularly. Subsequent to the initial review above, I reached out to customer service regarding the snow basket issue. The response was immediate with excellent solution to replace the basket. In the meantime, I found a simple solution as to how to prevent this problem from recurring by sliding a tight fitting rubber O ring under the basket to keep it from working loose. Customer service appreciated my simple & inexpensive solution to these excellent trekking poles. Great company to do business with.
