I was skeptical, but it did the job!
I admit I was skeptical that something like this would really do what it promised. It exceeded my expectations, and my gutter problem is solved. I have some very high second story gutters that are difficult to reach/clean because they are over a porch roof that's difficult to stand on because it's metal and slick even when it's dry out. I am nor able to reach all my gutters from the ground and the pressure is enough to get that black gunk out.Others have noted that they get wet because of the connections. I did get wet but expected it because of the reviews here. I'm in my 60s, I've been wet before, no harm done. Cleaning gutters is a dirty job anyway, but I'd rather be wet than covered in the black gunk. And, yes, it is a bit unwieldy when all stretched out, but I'm not sure you can get as good of a forearm workout any other way.Lastly, a word about how the thing ships. I knew it would be extra long. All collapsed it's about 6 feet long, but not especially heavy. I still would have expected a box or some sort of packaging other than a plastic sleeve. The sleeve doesn't seem to provide much protection during shipping but there was no damage done. Nevertheless, the sleeve was ripped and not covering the entire item when it arrived, and the shipping label was just stuck to the sleeve. This probably explains why the first one I ordered was lost and never arrived. I blame Amazon for this, not the seller.

The most effective DIY tool I ever bought
Overgown evergreens have been clogging our gutters, even after trimming with needles overflowing the edge of gutters near the downspout.. I was tired of paying $250 for gutter cleaning every year so I bought this. Number 1 son performed the labor and it looks like we have an easy solution to clogged gutters going foward. So well constructed it could have been made by Lockeed. Absolutely no leaks from expandable joints or hose connections that were cinched only hand tight. My son was able to easily reach the top roof gutters in a two story colonial without strain or a ladder. It takes some getting used to as the water flow does produce a corresponding '"thrust", and on a 17 foot tube there is some 'english' to overcome, but he hooked the curved nozzel into the gutter and with slight downwards pressure he was able to 'walk' it down the length of the gutter flushing everything forward (after starting right at the downspout per the instructions). One suggestion is you prefill the tube with water as it cuts down on the air spitting out and makes contolling the Gutermaster easier when in position. Thanks again to my boy!

Works well...steep learning curve
The gutter master is an overall good item to have around and I am very happy that I did get it as it saved me a ton of money with gutter cleaning. Here is my situation. Our condo has very tall gutters and there are a bunch of maple trees all around the building. In the spring the trees flower and the flowers end up in the gutters and clogs them up pretty badly. They form these plugs that totally clog up the downspouts.I tried using my Toro leaf blower with the gutter cleaning attachment. This worked on for the debris on the gutter itself but did not unclog the downspouts. I was also not able to reach the high gutters with this. The gutter master allowed me to get the water stream right into the opening of the down spouts and flush all that debris out.Is this easy to use. No. it took me a few days to get the right right technique and the right angles.Did i get wet: At first i was soaked. But once i figured out the right technique and right angles i was only splashed minimally. Is the item heavy: Empty no. Full of water Yes.Is the item man maneuverable: Low gutters Yes. High gutters. No. You have to spend time getting the technique down. There is quite a bit of opposing force from the jet of water coming out.Tips: Use a regular hose. Avoid the coil hoses as they will not give you all the water pressure you want.Position the tip with the water shut off at the valve. When you are ready slowly open the valve to let the water out.Shut off the water when you are ready to move the device.Hold on tight to it while water is flowing.Don't stand directly under the gutters. You will get soaked.Good luck all

Good, Helpful Product
I used this product for cleaning gutters on my two story home and I was impressed with its ability to clean the leaves out of my gutters. It takes a bit of strength to hold onto it when the water is on high, but I did not find it overly difficult to hold onto or guide. When the water is flowing quickly through the GutterMaster pole it does move the tip backwards but I could easily control the amount of water that was flowing through the pole. Having a 16ft pole made it so I did not have to use a ladder.

Rain gutter cleaner
sturdy extending aluminum wand, made for cleaning the gutters. Works good, the more you extend the wand, the harder it is to operate safely. Also , the attachment for the hose , leaks. Besides that it does work.

Well Made Tool that Does the Job
This tool is very well made. There are three sections of aluminum tubes that slip in each other. When extended there is a large 'nut' that tightened the joint to make it water leak proof. The business end is a hook shape with a smaller orifice to result in a powerful water jet. the bottom is a metal / plastic connection for an ordinary garden hose. There is a metal shut off valve which gives thumb control over the water. A couple of padded hand grips allows controlling this easier than if you had to instead grip the approx.1 inch diameter tube. I needed the full 16 ft length to reach my second story home's gutters. That length, especially when filled with water makes it tricky to move around When raising or lowering it, I was concerned that the tubes might bend over and kink .. but that did not happen. The hook end can be positioned to shoot the water stream straight down or angled slightly to allow the water jet to shoot along the gutter. All-in-all very well made and effective routine gutter cleaning of leaves and small clumps of leaves. If I hired someone to clean these gutters the price may well have been $200-$300 ... 2 or 3 times what I paid for this tool.

Junk
Tried to clean second story gutters that I know have some clogs. Iโm in the Northwest and we have a lot of pine needles. I thought hey, this product with some decent pressure could easily dislodge pine needles. If Iโm feeling adventurous, I get on a ladder and it takes a very small amount of force to dislodge the pine needles that collect to get things moving. With this extended, itโs a wobbly noodle. Once I finally was able to position it correctly, I fire it on, water comes out somewhat weakly, and regardless of positioning it canโt dislodge the pine needles that collected at the top of the downspout.Just a waste now that will be in a pile the next time I need to visit the dump.

Really good for cleaning high gutters
I bought this so I could stop paying someone to get up on my roof and clean out the high gutters. I was skeptical but WOW--not only very sturdy and well built, but easy to use as well. I used it for the first time today. When you open it as big as it gets and then turn on the water it does take a bit of maneuvering. I found that leaning the top area against the gutter before turning on the water makes it easy to move around. The end of my gutter and its downspout were completely clogged. Hit it with the high power water coming out of this thing and I had it cleared in about 3 minutes. After the clog was cleared, water kept coming out of the area of the spouting near the ground--and it kept coming and coming (meaning the whole top gutteer had been full of water that hadn't been able to drain). I was able to reach the area easily with no ladder needed. Now I'll just keep an eye on the spouting near the ground and when it slows down or stops draining I'll know it's time to do it again. This will save me a ton of money that I would have spent hiring someone to get up on the roof to remove the clogs. REALLY PLEASED not only with how it works, but in the quality of the piece as well. Should last many years. Note: there are NO instructions included but it was very easy to figure out how to loosen the two collars, extend it, then tighten the collars. Bottom collar fits easily on a regular garden hose. Great purchase!

Small annoying problems
The somewhat over priced extendable tool for cleaning gutters has two drawbacks. First, the Americans use the old imperial thread system and not the metric thread system we had forced on us by the E.U. When trying to fit a garden hose with a metric thread fitting to an American imperial pipe thread,it just leaks . Second, the nozzle at the top of the pipe is non adjustable but has an a.c. m. e. thread on itโs end.If you can purchase an imperial fitting and fit it to your garden hose and you are prepared to buy an a.c.m.e threaded adjustable nozzle to spray water into your gutters, well and good. The overall quality of the extendable pipe is excellent and it is well made, and worth buying, but very pricey.

Works great but prepare to use some muscles
Fantastic product. Shoots a strong water stream aimed just right to dig out gunk. It's also quite sturdy to withstand abuse. That means the wand is not exactly light. If you are not used to waving a huge pole around be prepared for a workout.Top Tip: There are two lengths, 12ft and 16ft. I was tempted to save some $$ and get the short one, but as it turned out the 16 footer allowed me to park one end on the lawn while the business end rinsed out the gutter. This allowed me to drink beer while the wand did the work. Also the gizmo costs less than hiring a local idiot to do the job.

Definately worked for me.
After attempting to find a reasonable, even logical, attachment for a pressure washer to reach the required height to clean my eaves gutters, I gave up after discovering this simple well designed and light weight device.Because it connects directly to a garden hose, and has its own water control valve, it saves the hassle of pressure washer displacement and connectionsIt only required decent house water pressure, which I have, to clean my gutters .The length is easy to adjust and does not slip once tightened. At first it appeared to me that the curve at the top end was not enough pronounced, but after using the pole, I found it just right. To be certain, visually, of my gutter clutter extent, I did install a ladder at the outlet end, and then cleared the outlet some by hand (which, by using the tool, might not have been necessary). It is certainly a blessing to not have to keep moving that darn ladder afterwards. As a possible addition to this tool I would like to be able to change the top end from curved to strait with detachable fittings. It would be useful to be able to mount a round, stiff flow-through brush, which Guttremaster also has available, to a straight pole end in order clean, straight up, the under side of the gutters which sometimes gathers dark mildew.Certainly this would add cost to construction and purchase but I could go for it.This is a very useful product.

Guttermaster Pro Telescopic Water Fed Pole poor manufacturing
The following product broke where the hose screws into Guttermaster Pro Telescopic Water Fed Pole.I purchased this product, and unfortunately, it broke after very little use due to poor quality parts. When I reached out for support, I was shocked to be told that I have to pay to return the defective item. This is completely unacceptable โ if a product fails because of poor manufacturing, the company should take responsibility and cover the cost of return shipping. Instead, they expect customers to pay out of pocket for their mistake.I even went ahead and purchased another one in hopes it would be better, but this experience has left me very disappointed. Poorly made product and bad customer service โ I wonโt be buying from this company again and would not recommend it to others.

Works well for the price
The pole came bent upon arrival and instead of dealing with a return I just decided to straighten it myself. The valve at the bottom is poor quality and after using for a few days started to leak which is a real pain when holding the pole above your head to clean gutters because it will run down your hand, arm, torso and soak you. Easy fix for this is to just grab a $5 brass valve from home depot and toss the one that came with the pole. With a good valve on it the pole can be very useful and does spray a powerful enough jet stream of water to clear and rinse almost any debris from a gutter or wash the siding on your house. Overall great product for approx. $100.
