ARCAN 3-Ton Steel Low Profile Floor Jack, Model A20003

Ive never used a jack of this style so was caught off guard by how heavy the thing is but it works great! Rolls smoothly, gets low enough to get under my Corvette but goes high enough to work on my truck too. Finish looks good and seems like it will last well, despite me only having it for a couple of months so far.

This is pretty much the same as the harbor freight daytona jacks, probably same factory same country.. BUT they seem to be pick of the litter. The wheels are abit thicker, the handle is abit thicker, the side walls on the frame are heavier guage and the paint is smoother (not important but...). The jack pumps very smooth and lifts fast under load, zero complaints. It's a jack nothing more nothing less, its not a super nice expensive instant one pump racing jack or a lightweight aluminum long neck but it is heavy duty, smooth, actually lifted much more than its rated, i lifted around 7000~ish lbs with it (not recommended but i had no choice) and I had zero doubt in its ability to continue doing its job after that and it has.

It took me more than a few months before I finally decided and replaced the rotors and brake pads for my car and this was one of the last tool I invested. Some of the niceties -- 1. Low profile. 2. Dual piston pump, making it way eaiser than some of the cheap ones I borrowed from my buddies. 3. Heavy - the heavier the better. 4. Decent capacity of 6,000 lbs. This was shipped from one of the closer Amazon warehouses and this came in a surprisingly good condition (nothing busted, nothing broken). One option I am considering is an universal fit floor jack pad to supplement. This could not raise the car high enough from its front jacking point to put 3-ton jackstands on the side rail.

If it survives the shipping to your house, it's a great floor jack. This is the 3rd Arcan floor jack that I have purchased over the past 14 years. The first two, (purchased at Costco in 2012 & 2018) are still going strong and I've been very pleased with their performance. I purchased this third one (Model # A20003) from Amazon. It has a minimum height of 3.25 inches, low enough to get under my 370Z, and a max lift height of 20.5 inches, high enough to lift my 4x4 Tundra. The floor jack itself gets 5 stars from me, but I took a star away because of the poor packaging by AMAZON. Yes, it was sold and shipped by Amazon, not a 3rd party. The box was pretty beat up when I received it, with a 2-inch hole in the side. When I opened it up, the styrofoam shell meant to protect its contents was completely destroyed. The steel handle was scratched up, the handle padding (meant to protect your vehicle) was cut, the rubber saddle pad was nowhere to be found, and the bolt that secures the handle to the jack was not in the torn packaging. This jack weighs 81 pounds. I did not want to deal with sending it back. I was able to paint the scratched-up handle. I found the handle bolt laying loose in the box; just pure luck that it didn't find its way out of the 2" hole in the box. Also, the rubber saddle pad was wedged inside the tiny space under the jack pistons. I was able to get that out of there without damaging it. I guess I will just have to live with the tear in the handle padding, which is unfortunate. Amazon needs to do a much better job packaging up a product this heavy. The product box alone is insufficient to protect the jack during shipping. A second box with padding is needed.

This jack is just great! I bought this jack to replace an old jack that failed (not the same manufacturer). it's low enough to fit under my vintage Porsche 911 and the load rating gives me peace of mind. It does not lift quite high enough for an SUV, but for most any car (even lowered vehicles) it's great. Solid construction, not super heavy. Easy to move around. LONG bar to make jacking easy. Looks cool too. HIGHLY recommend!

In terms of quality, this is a very good product. It is powerful, low to the ground so it fits under most cars - except it doesn’t fit under my very low sports car BMW Z4. The only downside is that it is very heavy. I move and store it on the wheels. It is maneuverable. The lift has no problem lifting my other, large cars and SUV and the lever is smooth. The handle is long and can reach far under a vehicle for more centrally located jacking points.

I've got 2 vehicles & when I need to get under them this jack works perfectly. For the price I'm beyond happy. My mechanic neighbor bought one after we were out fixing my car & he saw/used this jack. Definitely highly recommend this for anyone who does their own work on their vehicles.
