CURT 25153 Straight Tongue Trailer Coupler for 2-Inch Channel, 2-In Hitch Ball, 3,500 lbs

It's made to fit a 2" channel or square tubing. It fit my 2" tubing with no issues. There are two top holes, it advises not for mounting. I am not sure why, but I planned and used the side holes. These holes are sized for 1/2" diameter bolts. Holes were correctly sized, lined up as they should. I picked zinc finish over painted. Item was burr free and well made. It does not come with mounting hardware or a pin to lock the coupler lever, but I knew that before I bought, so that was not a worry. If I were to need another, I would buy again.

Good piece of equipment which is what you’d expect from Curt. Only giving it four stars as I have never had a label that was so difficult to remove. We’re talking crazy difficult here when there is no need for it to be so. I’d literally find one manufactured by someone else if I needed another one.

This worked very well for my replacement hitch

I bought this to replace the original coupler on my ATV/ Snow Mobile trailer. The original was operational but very hard to couple and then remove from ball. The Curt MFG coupled up very easy and locked in place without any excess play. It released with a easy lift of the locking lever and pulled of free. My trailer does not have a tongue jack so the ease of coupling and removing is very important, and the piece of mind in knowing its firmly attached makes this everything I wanted. Matches up the same as the original, both the bolt pattern and width were good. Another review mentioned the label sticking, I removed mine slow and easy without soaking in water, then used Goo-Gone to remove the glue residue, no problem! This was the best price I found on an name I knew and trusted. The description said an extra 1-2 days to process, but with Amazon Prime it was here in 3 days. Bottom line: I'm extremely satisfied with this coupler, it was a great buy!

Seems sturdy and fit well to the trailer I built, it's a small trailer so not sure how well this would hold up for larger loads
