Yes, I had the same question. So, very carefully, I pulled the plastic blade (the flat plastic blade closest to the steel blades) downward and slowly worked it off using even pressure all around. Then I slipped off the safety cover. The plastic blade can then be reattached by re-aligning the ring. Thanks everyone for the advice.

Hi, this manual food processor can chop, blend and puree ingredients i.e. hard vegetables like carrots. I recommend to add the steak meat into bit sized pieces and chop to the desired texture. Hope this helped ;)

I don't think you can make dough with this. It's basically just for chopping, smaller than needed to make dough. and would get all gummed up.
