8'8" MAG Medium rated 3/4 to 3 oz. Initially thought I'd made a mistake due to the fact that I failed to recognize that this was a MAG rated rod. Upon opening the rod I half expected to find a VERY stiff, broomstick-like rod, but that was not the case. Great for throwing everything in the 1-2 oz. range and plenty of backbone for handling large fish. I'd recommend this rod to anyone that wants to fish what I consider medium weighted saltwater lures.
