Those latches are very difficult to find yet it's a perfect system for a very quick lock/unlock

Works well, however it needs a back plate as if pinched the bolt is bound.

Used them for a unusual reason but they work great and came fast. Only thing is I need them in gold or brass color.

I bought these for our baby gate. The latch only works if you fiddle with it for a minute. They do not close easily.

Very big hole for the pin to go in. Over 1/8 inch gap. Enough to get leverage and break off the stop and get in. Not heavy duty. Bends with your hand. If a child or animal gave it a kick, it would open.

I can't believe I drilled holes for these things. They either will not latch, or if you manage to get them latched will not unlatch. Even if they worked the bar only extends about a quarter inch so if you're trying to bridge all but the tiniest of gaps they're not long enough.

Unfortunately, these did not work for my purposes. They seem sturdy enough depending on your intended use, they don't seem to get stuck like others I've tried in the past, and they are reasonably priced for a four pack, especially since appropriate screws are provided. And props to Amazon, they arrived next day as expected.The only fault I found with them is that the portion of the pin that sticks out while engaged is not very much, severely limiting what they can be used for. I needed them to lock in the rotating surface on a flip-top tool cart, but the short pins couldn't reach across the small gap required for smooth rotation, so I had to order some larger versions from a different seller. Oh well, they seem good enough quality, and I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to hardware and building materials, so I'm sure they'll get used eventually.

Product did nit fit in tight clearance for my project. Returned w/o any difficulty.
