There is a learning curve but this is extremely effective at making my dou-chua (idk how to spell it) pickled carrots and daikon raddishes. Perfect matchsticks every time. It is difficult to use when the remaining vegetable is only 1/4 inch (approx 1.5 cm) thick but it gets most of the vegetable into matchsticks way faster than hand slicing with a knife.

It's not a great shape to cut but it's ok to use when you don't want to use a knife with cutting board.

This product works exactly how it was supposed to!! It peels in thin spaghetti thickness strips!! Works great for salads, stir fry, and is very easy to use!!! I loved it so much, I bought two more to give to my kids!! Highly recommend this product!! Was a great buy!!!!

It is OK. That's all I can say. I found it is not as sharp and easy to peel. The julienne side is not easy to use and I need to push to get julienne.

great kitchen tool, I love the part on this that shreds any veggie that is strong, like carrots, cucumbers, and celery, it makes a nice shredded cucumber salad or a carrot salad. love it.

This is a cool kitchen toy. I used it on zucchini to julienne and on cucumbers to peel. I haven't had carrots in the house yet, so next is to julienne some for salads. You can cut your finger with this if you don't pay attention to what you're doing, but what's new in the kitchen food prep area. Inexpensive, not a spiralizer, makes a nice stocking stuffer or side-gift for anyone who works in the kitchen.
