I use this everyday in my classroom and love all the different topics it touches on in addition to the grammar practice. It’s a great opportunity to expand my student’s background knowledge.

This is our third year using the Daily Language Review product and we really like it. It does a great job reinforcing key concepts and revealing any gaps in the student's knowledge on different topics. My 8yo has consistently scored well in language on her standardized testing (even at a grade level higher than the DLR book we are using) and I believe much of it is due to this product. We intend to continue to use the Daily Language Review books well into the future. As a side note, as they are a bit pricey as a disposable book, I just have my kids write their answers in a separate notebook, so that we can re-use the DLR workbooks for each child without buying new ones. And we would be able to re-sell them when we are done with them as well.

Very good material to educate kids

I have bought the Daily Language Review books for the last 5 years for both my kids and we use them regularly. They are super and quick reviews! THey touch on everyday grammar, context clues, plural/singular, misspelled words etc. I oftentimes catch my own grammar errors when helping my kids. Well worth the money! These are used in several school districts as well-I was an elementary teacher.

Excellent practical application book of concepts in the English language. The emphasis is on sentence structure and word usage (like verb agreement, capitalization, punctuation, etc.), and the analogies are good in terms of reinforcing word meanings. The only thing missing for me is the instructions for the concepts covered. For instance, explaining the use of quotation marks would have been helpful (my son is more of a visual learner than auditory - so having instructions written out helps him understand the concepts better than a lecture from me). In spite of this, my son likes this book almost as much as I do! What I LOVE about it is the daily practice and review. I am a firm believer in small doses of practice everyday - makes a real difference in holding onto a concept. My only regret is that I didn't find this kind of book 2 years ago! You won't be disappointed!!

This workbook is excellent

My children needed a review book on spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, etc. This book provided just what I needed and it did not add alot of time to their school day. It is all stuff they learned in previous years. It makes a nice review book and reinforces many important concepts over and over for them. I like that they have this book available for many different years of schooling also.

This is really a supplement to our home-school curriculum. The daily exercises are simple and short, and my daughter usually completes a week or two in one sitting. Not much else to say about it.
