SEIKO Men's self-Winding Watch Made ​​in Japan Black SNZG13J1

I just received my watch earlier this week. Setting up the date and time was really easy. So far, I haven’t had any problems with the time. I find it very accurate in time keeping. I do quite a bit of physical work and my watch apparently can take a beating and it keeps on ticking. I bought this watch for about $200, so far, looks like I’m getting a lot of bang for my bucks. So, no complaints, 5 stars!

Nice watch, genuine Seiko. Keeps decent time. Second hand *not* stoppable so if you want to set time to the second, you can't really.The sale made me uncomfortable. It arrived in an Amazon shipping box but the watch was in an obviously previously opened Seiko box, with a dog-eared manual that didn't fit the box. The box sleeve didn't seem to match the box. The whole thing was in a plastic bag that was tightly taped closed with clear tape. The watch is legit and seemed to have most of the protective clear sticky tabs on it. The secondary day wheel labels are in Arabic.There's no warranty card, not sure if there should be one. Not sure if that means anything or if the seller is an authorized dealer, or if that could mean anything.So to conclude, nice watch, beautiful condition but I feel a bit uneasy about its lineage.If you're going to sell what is listed as a 'new' Seiko why would it not be in its prestige factory packaging unless it's not 100% factory new?

I don't recommend this automatic watch. Though I followed the manufacturer's instructions, it loses time every day. I kept it past the Amazon return window, because, well, it's a Seiko. Thought I could re-read the windup instructions and get it to work. Bad idea.Seiko won't take it back, neither will Amazon. $225 out the window.For the record, the watch on my wrist at this moment is a Seiko Bellmatic. Bought it 51 years ago while in Europe. Never, ever a problem with it (except I wore out the metal band).Morals of this story: 1. If you have the slightest doubt about a purchase, DON'T miss the return window.2. Skip this watch, unless you're a gambler or have money to flush.In conclusion, I still love Amazon. Great company.Update: 26 July 24 ... Thank you Amazon for solving my watch problem. This Seiko is a very good looking and easy to read watch. The band is comfortable and the links nicely brushed. The latch on the band snaps closed and must be released to open. Very nice feature. The band length is easy to adjust and the latch has several micro adjustments. I laid the watch on my nightstand and the hands and numbers glowed for several hours after I extinguished the light. I do wish the crystal were sapphire not hardlex. The crown does not screw down.Overall, this is a beautiful watch. I have no use for a rotating bezel. I was very happy to find this Seiko model.

Great watch for a great price! I went with this model because it is made and shipped directly from Japan. At first the watch ran approximately + 15-20 seconds fast daily, but after the initial "break in period" (3-4 weeks) I now have the watch running to a tee! When the watch goes ahead a few seconds (even the most expensive automatics will) I simply lay it down vertically at night to loose a few seconds. When all said and done I have the watch operating to +/- 3 seconds a week!I would definetely recommend spending the extra money to buy the Japenese model watch. I'm very happy with the build and quality of the watch.. 5 stars!

I love this watch. It is heavy and well built. The watch face is easy to read in low light. This is a daily wear watch and I expect it to last a long time.
