Spiritual Diary: An Inspirational Thought for Each Day of the Year (Self-Realization Fellowship)

I use this book everyday for words of inspiration from Paramhansa Yogananda and thought my dear friend who is also a devotee of Paramhansaji would like it. She loves it, too!

This book was given to my by a cherished friend. I found words of wisdom between the lines typical of ancient Eastern philosophy of peace, love an goodwill and the presence of Christian values, belief in God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Purchased new is a perfect gift to a bereaved friend or loved one.

Somehow my Spiritual Diary of 15 years had disappeared and I love it. Perhaps it will turn up but I didn't want to wait! This little book gives inspiration on a daily basis and I will soon have little tabs here and there. It has supported my ups and downs that life gives. Good thing I like challenges! I was totally delighted that it came so fast.And this little book just might help you more than you might ever expect.

This beautifully written and redesigned diary offers a daily inspirational quote in 52 weekly themes (Humility, Habits, Healing, Courage,etc.) from Paramahansa Yogananda and the saints and adepts who were close to him. This diary is most suited for those studying or respectful of his teachings (via Self-Realization Fellowship) and masterworks (Autobiography of a Yogi, The Second Coming of Christ, God Talks With Arjuna.)

What a great inspirational book to have in any library. I totally and completely recommend this to anyone entering the path to finding God. Blessings

Self Realization Fellowship publishes all of Yogananda's books so I know they are his authentic writings! I love this book because his sayings are so inspiring. I can open the book anywhere and find encouraging and motivational truisms to reflect on throughout the day.

This book, I must admit, is the first Self-Realization Fellowship book by Yogananda that I have been a little disappointed in. Some of the excerpts from his work are so short that there isn't a lot of content. There's a lot of white space on each page, unlined; I'm not sure whether that is intended as a place to make notes or write thoughts, but I would have preferred a little more content to fill that space. Some of the meditations have helped me greatly; some, especially in the "Obedience" section, were a bit repetitive. Not my favorite among the SRF books.
