Size in the description is wrong.
The length is perfect, but I bought this one because the description stated it was 4" wide. That should be 3/8" wider than the smaller box. It is not, it is 3 1/2" wide. That is not going to work for what I need it for. if I can't find one 4" wide, I'm contemplating taking them apart and using the the long parts and the wider parts (I have 2 of the small ones) so make a franken box, long enough and wide enough for what I need.

Housing for found objects
I will use this box in much the same way as pictured. As a means to contain bits and baubles, weird artifacts, et cetera, that I collect. It's great as a souvenir display, allowing me to present a theme at different times of the year. These boxes take paint well, paper too. And if they feel a bit tipsy, I add a substantial base to keep them upright at all times.
