I can definetly recommend this fan as it is now my 2nd one I've purchased. The 1st one died after owning it for atleast 10 years and it surviving many moves in that time period! For just about $30 you get a fairly quiet, strong (on high speed) fan that adjusts in height and can either oscilate or fan head stay locked in place. Its plastic (fan blades and caging & bottom floor stand and metal (stand pole) some may say feels cheap but let me assure you its lightweight so easy to move around but very sturdy. If youre like me you like white noise when sleeping and this fan provides just enough to not bother you when trying to fall asleep but keep you from registering other outside noises that tend to wake us up (garage doors opening/closing, car engines starting (my bedroom is over the garage!!). Only reason I took a star off is they did not give complete assembly instructions and assembling the fan should be described, thankfully I have one already & just looked at that to see how to attach the parts. I definetly feel this fan is well made, privides enough air curvulation to cool room and its adjustanle and takes up a small footprint in room and holds up well to stand the test of time! I provided a picture of my old one and the new one all thats changed is the logo on front!

This is my 3rd or 4th of these fans from Lasko. I use them in my home constantly for ambient soft white noise for a good night's sleep, and also to cool down any room fast. It's super easy to put this together out of the box in a few minutes. Its adjustable height and power settings make this adaptable to any environment. It is made out of durable plastic and metal, and it's super easy to take apart to clean. I like this latest model's improvements in how the outer grid fits snugly into the base, and I think this is the most quiet iteration yet. It's also very nice to look at, and I think it will blend nicely into any room decor. I must mention, this is a great price and with Amazon's speedy delivery, you cannot do better.

This fan is very quiet and has great air flow. It cools down our room very nicely as it can rotate or sit still. No remote control. Works great. Is very quiet when blowing.

Why cant anything ANYTHING be built to quality these days? It keeps dropping down to lowest height despite it supposedly being extendable. Itll raise up, we will tighten but as soon as we set it to oscillate- bam, down to lowest level which is lower than the bed height. Absolute rubbish. And Im writing this at 04:16 after a crap night sleep battling this junk thats not even worth the copper in the wire

Easy to assemble. Perfect wind flow. Highest level is a bit loud but not so much. Good for the price. I saw a few reviews that it’s filmsy which is not true. It’s firm if you correctly install it. The instruction manual is for no use. One less star for poor instructions
