Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun

Living in Florida makes sunburns more than a rare occurrence so aloe vera is essential to alleviate the soreness from burns. This lotion works really great. I've tried a bunch of different aloe veras for sunburns and this one works just as good as any other. The lotion applies smoothly and doesn't spread too thick. The best part is that it is not sticky and goopy like aloe vera gels. I also really like the smell of it (something I didn't expect). The scent smells good without coming off as too potent. Overall, I really liked this lotion and plan on using it for all my sun burns and irritations. I recommend it if you are a frequent tanner or just somebody who spends a lot of time in the sun.

The first time I tried the Hawaiian Tropic silk hydration moisturizer I was at the beach after getting slightly sunburned and we were all looking for moisturizers and aloe. I am fair skinned and burn easily, and normally it does not turn into a tan. I liked all the properties this had and the aloe in it. I decided to try it, and the next day I had a tan. My vacation wasn't stuck under an umbrella being burnt. From then on I've had a loving relationship with my Hawaiian Tropic silk hydration after sun moisturizer. After tanning each day and taking a shower, I immediately apply it. It is quick to dry and does not leave you feeling sticky for long. I compared the silk hydration to the shimmer effect, and I do believe that the silk hydration moisturizes the best to prolong tans and treat sunburn. While it lacks the shine, I find it is better in moisturizing one's skin to keep the tan and treat sunburn. If you want a little shimmer before going out, you can always apply it too as I have done before, and applying twice never hurts anything. This product dries fast, and at first it is a little less sticky than the shimmer. Both do dry pretty quickly, this one more so, so that you can dress fast and not feel your clothes sticking to you for a long time. I very much recommend this product. This really helps turn sunburns into tans and keeps my skin moisturized. With this product there is no need for moisturizer and aloe. You can apply one cool, refreshing moisturizer with aloe and be done instead of applying two separate things. This is my go to after sun moisturizer in the summer. Though sometimes I do mix it with Maui Babe after sun when I get a little too red and need extra moisturizer. If you have never tried this product before, now is the perfect time to give it a chance. You won't be disappointed.

THE BEST AFTER SUN LOTION! This is the best ever! It smells fantastic, and it leaves my skin so smooth. This lotion does not let you peel. Not greasy!

Almost gel like in texture with a subtle fragrance. I'm sure this would feel wonderful on irritated sunburned skin. However, using it as an after bath body lotion on dry skin it almost feels sticky the first few minutes after applying. I prefer Hawaiian Sun's other product---Lime Coolada after sun lotion.

I am a tanning newbie. With that said there are several things that I don't like in a lotion. I don't like crazy smells and I do despise a lotion that you can still feel later. You know what I'm talking about it leaves your hands feeling all slimy. So people love it but the thought of it makes me cringe. With that said this lotion is the opposite of that. It feels really good and is absorbed into the skin very quickly. I am very fair skinned and never tried to tan mostly because all I do is burn. Although I have been taking it slow I haven't burned yet and am starting to see results. Also my skin feels much better with this lotion. Lastly the scent. It's not overbearing but if you do not enjoy coconut this may not be for you. I like it but as a guy I dont exactly want to be leaving a coconut scent trail in my wake. You can only smell this if someone gets very close to you like personal space close so unless you are very sensitive/don't enjoy coconut you should be fine.

Great after sun product. I used on my face because it was non greasy and put the moisture back after laying in the sun. I live in NY, I am in my mid fifties with fair to medium skin and went on a cruise in October. I am not a sun person so was concerned about my skin especially my face. I used Hawaiian tropics hydration tanning lotion on my face and this afterwards. Helps heal the sun exposed skin and maintains the tan longer. I continued to use for a period of time after the cruise to keep my tan a little bit longer.it keeps the skin from flaking. Have used Hawaiian tropic products since I a teen and would not use any other brand.

Ich benutze diese Produkte schon seit langem. Die Haut ist weich, duftend und nicht klebrig und feucht. Die meisten Produkte befeuchten die Haut, indem sie sie verschließen. Sie ist klebrig und man schwitzt darauf. Nicht so bei diesen Produkten... Du fühlst dich großartig, deine Haut ist gepflegt und du bist danach nicht ganz verschwitzt... Top

Schon lange war ich auf der Suche nach einer After Sun Pflege, die NICHT klebt. Es gibt nämlich nichts schlimmeres, als nach dem Duschen sich einzucremen und dann WIEDER zu kleben... Also machte ich mich auf die Suche.. Sofort bin ich auf dieses Produkt gestoßen und die positiven Bewertungen haben mich neugierig gemacht. Nachdem ich es gleich ausprobiert habe, kann ich nur sagen: Das ist die beste After Sun Pflege, die ich je hatte! Ich liebe Kokos, daher habe ich nicht lange bei der Bestellung gezögert. Allerdings überwiegt der Papaya Duft, aber das ist wirklich Empfindungssache! Die Pflege zieht sofort ein (deshalb bitte nicht irritieren lassen, sie ist auf der Haut, ihr müsst also nicht noch 100x nachschmieren). Auch im Gesicht fühlt es sich wunderbar frisch an. Das Ergebnis ist eine wirklich zart duftende Haut! Der Geruch ist nach einiger Zeit wie "frisch geduscht" - ich liebe es. Kaufe ich auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich liebe diese After Sun Lotion. Sie riecht absolut fantastisch, lässt sich gut auf der Haut verteilen, zieht zügig ein und hinterlässt keinen klebrigen Film. Außerdem habe ich definitv das Gefühl, dass vor allem bei einem Sonnbrand, die Haut anständig mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt wird. Auch so creme ich mich ab und an mit der Lotion ein, weil sie einfach toll riecht und sich so toll anfühlt.
