Dexcom New G6 Receiver Glucose Monitor

Because of the cost, I thought I was purchasing the G 6 Kit. Only realized after I read customers comments; I had purchased only the monitor, I have a Apple Cell phone and could monitor glucose levels on my phone. Could not return after purchase. Please in the comments list this is not the kit. Stupid for not reading and understanding customer feedback before I purchased.. I come from a family with Type 2 Diabetes and wanted to monitor my glucose levels and not use the stick method.

Bought this pieces before finding out that I also has to pay for a transmitter which is a little expensive for my budget and it will be a recurrent buy every three months. Would need to think about continuing with this product even though is very easy to use and accurate.

The Dexcom g6 arrived quickly and was packaged well. I have been pleased with the performance and accuracy of the meter. It is helpful in identifying and predicting hypoglycemic incidents to enable me to regain control over my blood sugar.

Came with no instructions or sensor. A lot of money m on something that can’t be used! No sensor included either. Extremely disappointed!

I had washed my 2.5 yr old original by accident. Medicare wouldn't replace for another 2.5 yrs, and the company buy price was $600.....too much for a retiree, so I was so pleased to find this one, at a great price! Thank you so much!

What I mean by poor programming is that it only allows you to put in a certain value for your Long Acting, Short Acting Insulin. The alerts, design and other features are good. You have to maintain a certain distance from the receiver or you will lose the info temporarily.

My husband has a Dexcom 6 CGM and it certainly has made my life easier until he lost the receiver. I called the company, I called our health service guy and each said I would have to purchase a new one. First I had to get an RX from our doctor for a new one. I couldn't believe the prices and had a bit of sticker shock. I did find a new one for sale from a surplus place and purchased it for half of what I would have had to pay from the Dexcom company and our health care company. There were a few at the drug store, but they also were outrageous. So, all is great, the receiver works perfectly, and thank you so much for including the company who sold it.
