Nicola Spring Heart Glass Storage Jars with Airtight Clip Lid - 500ml Set - Clear Seal - Pack of 6

We have lots of these jars at home, in the various sizes , some with the white rounded porcelain lids, and some like these with the flat clear lids that allow you to stack them.Although there is a heart stamped into the glass ( outside of the jar it is convex, inside the jar it is concave), it is really easy to clean die to the large openings and that everything except the metal spring mechanism and the clear silicone seals , is glass.The heart design seems to be a " Nicola" signature and looks amazing when filled.We use ours for everything , from the mini jars used for hand creams, screws/nuts/bolts, the mid jars used for sourdough, beans, seeds, lentils, edible nuts & homemade nut butters, coconut oil, home made ghee, home made curry, maalade etc etc and the large for beads and other craft items.These jars are the medium, clear glass, clear seals, clear flat stackable lids.They are well made and last and last.We cold sterilise ours once washed, using Milton tablets in a bowl of water, that way the silicone seals are sterilised at the same time, without damage ( I read somewhere that boiling the seals damages/ warps/ shortens the life of seals) so hope that tip helps.They arrive well packaged, each jar has its own packaging, which is plain so can easily be artistically modified or with labels if you plan to give them as gifts.We can always find a need for more of these jars, they are just so useful!

Have 30 of these jars nice to look at and very nice to look at.

This is the second lot of these jars I have bought & I have them in various sizes. They are great - durable and look lovely on the shelf.

Really liked these, two broke when I put boiling water in them but the seller replaced them without me requesting this, perfect customer service.

The metal hinges are quite sharp and will hurt / cut you easily. The seal is not airtight and requires additional layer of rubber or modifying the hinge assembly to make it tighter. Better to get a plastic container!
