Fantastic Collection of NYC Street Photography
Whether you are a fan of NYC culture and history, street photography, or hip-hop, this book will deliver. Extensively curated across years, artists, and boroughs, it is a near-perfect final product, all the way out to the outside cover design and red page edges. Little touches, like placing photos of Chris Rivers across from each other, show that the layout was as meticulous and thoughtful as the curation. And if you are any one of the above-mentioned types and you've lived in NYC for any of the past few decades, the book will resonate deeply (and you might even see some people you recognize - my man Ramon used to see Gene Palma (p.35) all the time back in the day.For those that don't know them, Ricky Powell and Brian Nobili are as real and as talented as they come, both with a keen eye for a good shot, street cred all day, and ears to the streets for as long as either of them can remember. Here they have gathered together an excellent group of talented photographers who through their work capture the spirit and dynamism of NYC. Think it's hyperbole? Check out the book.

The importance of ‘Wine Research’
An incredibly eclectic collection of snapshots portraying the kaleidoscopic essence of life in NYC. From the cover design to the undulating timeline of the layout, it’s a Great Space Coaster ride of complete enjoyment through the vibrant streets of the Empire City. As you turn the pages and read the captions, you are chaperoned to a unique, an quintessentially NYC, glimpse of a day in the life on the streets of the five Burroughs. Dwells an ‘the Rickster’ have brought together an assortment of who’s who in the world of New York street photography exemplifying the beautiful ruggedness of Gotham an it’s tribes. STRONG!!

You never know who you’re going to see.
Being a native New Yorker and working in the city I must say this book made me remember to stop and look around a bit. The photos in this book really let you grab a glimpse of the culture and how times change in NYC. If you are a photographer, or are just looking to see some New York City culture to its roots, I highly recommend this book. Definitely worth a look through, You never know who you’re going to see.
