This is one of my personal favorite Blues Clues DVDs. Not that your kids don't learn something every time they watch Blue, but these episodes are particularly relevant. I also think the color song is pretty catchy without being annoying. But your mileage may vary.Beware though these episodes are with Joe NOT Steve. Some kids have preferences, mine never did and always liked both as long as the episode was fun.

Our favorite Blue's Clue's of all! Shape Searchers & Colors are wonderfully engaging, entertaining and enjoyable for even parents to watch or listen to hundreds of times. My daughter fell in love with this video at the age of two and is now nearly 5, and although she is far beyond learning colors or shapes, she cannot resist sitting down for this video when her two year old brother now requests it.I feel Blue's Clue's is a wonderfully educational show. We have seen SO many episodes, but these are some of the best.If you don't have this one in your collection or are looking for a gift for a 1-3 year old, I highly recommend it.

Blues Clues is an excellent and fun learning tool for kids. This one teaches colors and shapes along with so many other fun elements that kids don't even know how much they are learning about the world. Great fun for preschool age children.

My son is two and has learned so much from this DVD. He enjoys mixing his own colors now and knows just which colors to put together to get a new color. And he's learned new shapes that he didn't know before (and it's just cute to hear him try and say "trapezoid"). As with any show my child watches, I watch with him and we talk about it all. He learns so much more that way. The fact that he enjoys the show makes it fun for both of us.

This DVD is fabulous!Both the shape part and the letter part are really educational and really fun!I love that the color part introduces mixing colors and letting us become familiar with colors that I haven't even heard of! and that the shape part suggests using the grocery store as a way to introduce shapes! what a great idea!I bought this DVD for my 14month old daughter and she loves it!I would definitely recommend this DVD!

This is a pretty good dvd. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is the dvd dosen't just play through all 4 episodes. It just plays the 2 with Joe. If you want to see the 2 episodes with Steve you have to go into another menu option. I bought this dvd for a road trip and it was frustrating that I had to climb around the car after 2 episodes so my daughter could see the rest of the dvd.

My kids are 1, 2 and 3 years old and they are all obsessed. Great for learning colours and shapes.

ジョーが大好きな息子【２歳】の為に購入しましたが、娘【６歳】の方が夢中でした。　　なぜなら、色の部分で赤、青、黄色など普通の色なら英語でも知っていましたが、ミックスして新しい色ができるという事がとても新鮮なようでした。　　聞いたことがない色が出てきては喜んでいましたし、ジョーの質問にもビデオに向かって答えていました。　　形の方も台形などまだ習ってない図形が出てきて大人の私でも為になりました。　　息子の方はまだ小さいのでそういうことには関係なく、いつも通りジョーとブルーが出ているので喜んでいましたが・・・

新しいジョー兄さんの初めての色と形のビデオです。なんだかパターン化されていて台詞に幅が無いのが難点ではありますが、相変わらず学習効果は高そう！スティーブお兄さんで形を学び。ジョーお兄さんでバッチリ復習するのに丁度良いかと思います。
