iPad mini For Dummies 2nd Edition

I bought this book to help me use my new mini iPad. I found it useful as I learned to use it.

If it wasn't for this book, my iPad may have ended up in the trash! Found this book to be my answer to so many of the problems I was having trying to understand my new iPad. I still refer to it on occasion, but not very often anymore as it just made understanding the device so easy......if you are new to an iPad~~~this is the book to buy. None better.

It helps me figure out some things i did not know, but it does not show how to transfer a picture from Facebook to my desktop. That is one of a few things i looked for

When it comes to iPad and computers, I"m just what the name implies - Dumb! This is a gppod reference book well laid out to find what you need to know.

Contains great amount of information to guide for iPad usage. Even though iPad is somewhat self-taught or self explanatory, but there are many tricks/shortcuts which are unknown to the user. To me, this dummies guide certainly is very helpful, plus I can pinpoint my area of particulars within the book. Love it.

iPad mini is my first Apple product, so this book has been helpful.

It is just what I expected, meets my needs.

I love these "Dummies" books; the authors for the iPad mini Dummies book are witty and make it so easy to understand for those of us who have never used an iPad, iPod, or anything like them. Thanks!

Having presented my wife with an iPad Mini, the different operating system & other novelties caused some head scratching, so it was off to the local library to get on the waiting list for this publication, which turned out to be for the older model iPad. We then found this version and it arrived with the usual Amazon celerity. It is proving a useful interim Bible until we master the amazing little iPad.

A Recomended read. I invested in the ipad mini for Dummies after having my mini ipad for a year.I am a person in my 50's and all my computer learing is self taught through reading at my own pace. The Dummies book is in color, has basic training and has more advanced learning. The ipad mini is so small, light and portable. This book is of great help, I have learn't so much.

When I bought my Mac I also bought Mac for Dummies, which has proved almost useless and never successfully answered any question I posed. However this book is completely different and has managed to solve all my problems so far; hence the 4star rating as it may not prove 100% in the future! Therefore, so far, good value for money.

I've used others of the "For Dummies" series and found them very helpful. Just the same with this one. Early days but the material is well presented in a very easily understood way. It has certainly helped this Dummy get to grips with the technology.

Excellent book. Bought it along with my new mini iPad and although that contains an online manual, the book has provided invaluable help and useful tips. Very easy to understand and would recommend to anyone who has never used an iPad before.
