I love this mp3 player. This is my 3rd player by pyle in 10 years. Easy to charge and simple to use. Sound is good. Would recommend this for the pool.

I tried my first pair, went swimming, and lost volume in one side of the headphones. I was not able, even after drying them out for 24 hours, to get the volume back. Amazon sent me a new pair. I put them on for a swim and about halfway through a 30 minute swim, the sound just became so poor that I wished that I did not have them on. Great price, but not a great product. Too fiddly and too unreliable for me.

These headphones work great underwater for activities like swimming! It is great that you can save music onto them and not have to worry about another accessory!

Things I like a out my MP31. The volume is just perfect for every day activities. Loud enough to drown outside noise.2. Very easy to transfer music from my computer to the player. Super easy.3. The uniqueness of the charging cord, fits perfectly.4. Different type and sizes of the ear plugs.5. Battery last yhroughout the day so I recharge it at night.6. Of course, no wires is the reason I purchase it.Things I don't like1. The bulkiness. I like MP3 that are less noticeable,Maybe the charger could be made smaller and be placed on the back having small ear use at the front. This is my major complaint.2. The cord is too small and feels tight, making it a little uncomfortable to wear longer than a few hours.Overall, I like it.

I could not decide between the Pyle and the Shokz bone technology headphones. The Pyle were 1/3 of the price and after LAP SWIMMING on three separate days with both, the Pyle won by a landslide. It took me a minute to get the earplug fit adjusted. One I did, game on. Also I had them on upside down at first too because I wasn’t paying close attention to correctly having the cord OVER my ears. The sound quality is so much better to me than the bone technology Shokz. It’s worth the extra 15 seconds to put on compared to the Shokz too. Everyone at my pool asks me about them and I never hesitate to recommend. Music (mp3 only) was simple to drag and drop into my playlist. Best money spent so far this year!!!!!! GET THESE. I swim longer and harder thanks to the great sound.

This product is considerably worse than previous models. The connecting plastic between the two ear lobes is flimsy and shorter by at least an inch. This is problematic for larger people. The overall construction seems to be cheaper and less durable. I think corners were cut to save money and it is not as good as previous models.

These have decent sound in the water. I wish there were a way to keep them on without having my goggles on.

Extremely pleasantly surprised by how great these are! Took them on a swim a few days ago and for the price and the fact that I was using them in and under water they sound and work great! Don’t know for sure how they’ll hold up over time but so far so good!

Only 4 stars because I had to take my ends from my old swim buds and put them on these for a good waterproof fit. I couldn’t hear the music until I substituted the old rubber ear pieces...which don’t stay on very well, but are still way better than the end pieces that came with this product.Having said that, the battery lasts far far longer than the old swim buds, charging is much easier, the sound is far better, they stay anchored and in place better than the swim buds and they are less expensive... so, overall, much happier with this product than with the swim buds.

Easy to download music. That’s about it for positives. The negatives: stopped working midway through my first swim-first swim!! I let it air dry overnight. Midway thorough my second swim, the volume went to max without pressing vol+ button—very uncomfortable experience. I tried to lower volume, but once I let go of the vol- button, it went back to max automatically; music repeats same music over and over. A complete disgrace of a product...maybe just got the odd lemon??

I wish to use this for swimming and aqua fit I am still trying to figure out how to load my music on it as no instruction provided.... . it is not as easy as my previous Sony which had software on board to load and instruction..I will let you know how tit performs once I get music on it. Any help would be appreciated.thankyou

2nd purchase of flextreme. First purchase was great while lasted - about a year of usage, 2-3 days a week of swim. When it failed, the usb connection with pc was not doing well, and when playing under water, music would "bounce" and skip to next song and stop. I hope this one will last longer than a year.
