Pros: keeps out insects especially at night when letting dogs in and out, the magnetic catch is perfect and it’s super easy to walk through, the screen material really is scratch resistant. My dogs have clawed hard on this and so far no damage.Cons: The French door size is about 4 inches too short but 3 inches too wide. Despite being short I haven’t had an issue with insects getting in. The adhesive will strip your paint. To me the door works well enough to justify having to paint later on.Totally worth the purchase.This screen won’t work well with metal doors or if the door opens outwards so keep that in mind. It works great for my French patio doors (opens inwards, so screen placed on outside sill) but did not work on our kitchen door that enters from our garage because that door swings outwards.

I had a different “as seen on TV” version that I was always complaining about but it was up so I left it. Until it was falling apart after a year and I couldn’t stand looking at it anymore. I found this product when I went looking for a replacement and I couldn’t be happier.It’s the complete opposite of my old version, in every way, for the better! This one feels very heavy duty and well made, with magnets all along the opening so there’s no gaps. There’s Velcro along the vertical sides, with a thicker Velcro strip along the top for more stability. They also include enough mounting tape so that all of the Velcro is covered, resulting in no gaps along the sides/top.Install was very easy, enough so that I was able to do it by myself. I do highly recommend using rubbing alcohol to clean the area first. I had some old residue from my previous version that I couldn’t get off (you can see some of the old mounting tape I couldn’t get off along the right side in the first picture; the black strips), but I just cleaned the area really well with rubbing alcohol while pressing down firmly on the new mounting tape and it seems to be staying well. My sliding door is slightly smaller than the 70x79 mentioned in the listing but this fits perfectly along the plastic siding trim that frames my slider.My house orientation is almost exactly north/south so my slider is in the full sun for most of the afternoon and I haven’t had any issues with the mounting tape not holding up or anything. There’s about an inch overlap between the bottom of the screen and the bottom track of my slider, so that when people or pets come back in, it does tend to get stuck and so the very bottom of the magnets won’t close. A light tap from your foot will fix this though so it doesn’t bother me.I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a magnetic screen for their door/slider.

This was exactly what we needed. It keeps the bugs out very well and allows us to keep our French doors open. It’s super easy to install and durable! I have had it installed for maybe 2 months now and no issues!

Looks good new but after a year and lots of traffic, it falls apart.I’m in NE Florida.

I use this at the entrance to my crawl space which is really my "stand-up space" because one is able to stand up tall throughout two-thirds on the area. I had the area sealed and mold-proofed, along with installing a dehumidifier that drains to the outside. I store some personal and family history items in there along with holiday decorations and garden tools. The magnetic net is much, much higher quality that what I had before. The magnets quickly connect and close the screen, but are easy enough to separate. It works great for keeping the bugs out when I am going in and out of the space.

Great quality. Especially with dogs

I bought one for the dining room slider so the dogs could come and go when we are gone. I liked it so much I bough another one for the master bedroom slider. Super easy to put on. Great quality.

Update: Within 2 days of leaving my initial review, the seller reached out and offered a full refund well outside of the warranty period. I wasn't expecting that especially so far after the warranty ended (I had the door for several months prior to installing it). I really appreciated the response from the seller and wanted to adjust my review to reflect that. Outside of the adhesive failing in the heat, the door worked as described and I really wish it would have held as it would have been a really good solution for a replacement door and worked well for my dogs.I cleaned the frame very well and wiped it down with alcohol, and allowed it to dry prior to installing- it was spotless. Got about 3 weeks out of it with very little use and the adhesive strip started falling off of the top of the door under the weight and heat.

The screen is simple to install. All velcro is supplied in the correct lengths. Clean the area, apply the self adhesive velcro and the the screen, with velcro attached. We did use a tip to slightly raise the screen above the opening to help it close better. The magnets work perfectly. No complaints!

It’s very difficult to find black mesh with a white/cream/any other colour border. The black mesh looks a lot better as it’s more transparent and doesn’t reflect light, so I really didn’t want a white mesh screen. The outside of my house is not black, so black would stand out a lot and I also didn’t want that, so this was the perfect options and oddly very difficult to find elsewhere.Admittedly I bought this just to give it a shot in the dark, but it ended up exceeding expectations by a long shot. It is very high quality, the magnets clip together very well. I bought a different brand one for a different smaller door and it is even more apparent now the quality difference. —if this brand ever has stock of the “yellow” border with black mesh in smaller sizing I will definitely get it.Lastly, the description colour said yellow but it’s rly more like white.

Great material but did not fit for the intended door. It was too small.
