Left crank arm thread issues(?)
I am not sure if this is a common problem, but I bought this as a replacement because the new bike I bought had the same part where the left crank arm failed. First the pedal fell off because the threads were stripped off, then after the bike shop guy "fixed" that issue with a replacement left crank.... The crank fell ofd the bottom bracket and was warped around the square taper end. Anyway, I got the replacement on and the left crank arm did not accept the pedal as easily as the right side crank arm. The right pedal threaded on fine. I checked and double checked, they are not left handed threads. I broke a wrench tightening the pedal on to the left crank. Anyway, I hope it holds up to the test of time and doesn't fall apart while I am riding it (for the third time.)
