To the review zoning in on Sd Alcohol 40 B as broadly toxic.. did you even read the website you grabbed that from? That "toxicity" is not exclusive to Sd Alcohol 40 B, it's just a general statement about ethanol. Like, yeah. Alcohol is toxic and people shouldn't drink it lol. So as with ALL products that contain alcohol- try not to drink this stuff and you'll be ok. Also this particular chemical scored really well as being "safe". Not sure about all the other ingredients tbf but this one just seemed like such an odd choice to try and paint as some sort of smoking gun. Anyhow on to my review: I've used BTZs other heat protectant spray (Turn Up The Heat) for years since I liked the castor oil to help combat frizz (I have super curly coarse hair) but now that I've tried this- instant switch. It's lightweight, smells good (didnt expect that), gave me a slightly better finish and is half the price

I have used this before and it does the job? smells good and is not sticky will continue to buy this product!!

It's an excellent product, and the quality-price ratio is even better. The only thing to keep in mind is not to apply too much or too close to the scalp to avoid that heavy feeling in your hair.

Best heat protectant I’ve used. I have fine straight hair and this does not weight it down, makes it smooth and shiny. Been having a time with the heat and humidity in GA this June making my hair puff up when I walk out the door, so far this has kept it looking nice!

I needed a better price point after years of using “Hot Off the Press” by Paul Mitchell. I don’t love the fragrance, but it fades quickly. It doesn’t cost my hair (in a good way) like the Paul Mitchell but hopefully it will work comparably.

I thought this product came off the market when I couldn’t find it in my local stores, and I mourned big time!! I was SO glad to find it here. This heat protectant is lightweight, doesn’t cause oiliness, doesn’t gunk up my straightener, and doesn’t sit heavy on my super fine hair. I swear it’s perfect!
