Excellent product. Simple to use and does exactly what it claims. It dried my wedding bouquet flowers perfect. I love that the crystals are reusable to a certain extent. I recommend this product.

First time user and it worked out great!
Wow is all I can say! Never knew something like this even existed but was very pleased using it for the first time. I started a new resin hobby so I am no expert but I wanted to try a flower project and bought this stuff and it didn’t disappoint. Preserved my flowers beautifully and I was able to put them in resin to preserve for a lifetime. I was so happy I bought another bag and started to preserve more flowers for other projects. One project is done and that’s the photo I provided in this review. I thought for a first time use this couldn’t have turned out any better. Really happy and will purchase again when I need to. It’s a plus that it’s reusable!

Drying Flowers With Silica Gel
Worked great!! Two days for super thin flowers. Five days for bigger flowers see picture. Color stays much better than air drying. Be careful of overdrawing flower petals and leaves can become so dry and brittle that they’ll disintegrate.

Decent results
This worked pretty well. I used to dry flowers by hanging them upside down and wanted to see the difference. With this I was able to spread the buds open and get some beautiful results. Hanging upside down never achieved this. Red flowers honestly dry darker and neither way keeps the lighter red. I did not like how the pink and white flowers turned out. You can't even tell the pink ones. I am looking forward to trying this with artichoke blooms one day.

Best option to preserve flowers
I have tried many different flower drying techniques and this came out the best, keeping the color and integrity of the flower. The price made me feel a little iffy about getting this, but when drying my wedding bouquet, I did not want to take any chances and this was the right decision. I did have to buy a total of 20lbs to do all my flowers and once everything was dried, I saved the sand and have 15lbs left. This was very easy to use and let my flowers dry for 10+ days. Sand does go into every crevice of the flower. Flowers still had their color which was wonderful. Though flowers become so fragile once dried out and you have to be very careful.

They work.
They work, good for drying flowers, they have no smell, the bag was a decent size, but we always wanted, they are a beautiful color as well. They do work.

This stuff works very well. It's quite fine, and significantly finer than regular table salt or white sugar. I use it in airtight containers to keep the contents dry. I also use thermo-hygrometers to tell me the humidity in the containers. For the regular Wiseorb silica gel beads, I use 4"x3" muslin bags, but this is too fine for them. For this stuff, I use paper tea bags as it doesn't fall through the pores. I've used both unbleached and bleached (white) paper tea bags. I like the white ones better as they're slightly translucent so I can see the granules, whereas with the unbleached paper tea bags, they're quire opaque. Drying it out is very easy. Microwave or oven. Microwaves work, but you need to do it intermittently otherwise you'll burn it or burn the muslin/paper tea bags. (Some tea bags will melt, so avoid those - test 1 bag when drying first.) Drying in the oven really seems to be the best way. I dry it for long period at the lowest temperature possible - 170 on my ovens. You don't accidentally burn it that way, like can happen in a microwave.
