Sturdy, don't give up training your fur baby to use it
My senior dog uses this daily. It was a struggle to get him to because I had been lifting him onto the bed for a long time. Once he got it he still wants to be helped up, but if I don't, he will go to the ramp. It is not foldable, and there is no adjustment for height. It does have a carpet on the ramp for traction, and my adult son who is 6'3 walks up it and all of my dogs are 70lbs plus so very sturdy. It is large, it's 3/4 the width of my king size bed. There are no side rails but I have it at the foot of the bed and the wall is on the other side only 6 inches away,he feels safe going up the ramp as he is a little wobbly at times.

Well constructed! -Minor cheap home add for the perfect ramp.
Very nice, well constructed ramp. I like it. Due to angle, it is a bit slick. The dog is using it fine, but one review noted to get some non-skid surface from a hardware store and replace the carpet. I will probably do that. Perhaps that could be done in the next design. Purchase is worth it! Even if you replace the carpet. Also, please provide black and brown color options. 😁Check out the carpet on this item: BIRDROCK HOME 16" Tall Adjustable Pet Ramp. That! Is nonslip carpet. But due to angle the nonskid surface might be best still.Update: I added carpet nonslip matting on top of the carpet the item comes with. Works perfectly! It’s got the padding of the original carpet, with a little extra grip. Quickly and easily used a staple gun to attach the matting. (See photo). It’s perfect! Additional benefit of space underneath for another dog bed. Lol.

Great sturdy ramp
Easy to put together. Just what I needed for my aging dogs. A lot easier on the joints than steps. Seems to be very well made and sturdy. I like that it's made of painted wood. It's not too heavy. Not too steep and very safe. I have a high bed and the height is just right, just a small extra step to the bed.

Good ramp! May need modifications
UPDATE: We bought cheap anti-slip tape from a home improvement store and added strips of that to the ramp. Took one roll for les than $10. That helped a lot and my dog no longer seems to slip going up. Happy with this purchase!I have bought quite a few ramps/steps for my dog and this one is by far the sturdiest. Because it’s sturdy, it’s not quite as light or easy to move around, but that’s a good thing! It’s also larger then a lot of them, but that’s also good as it makes the ramp less steep. After awhile and lots of treats, I was able to get my dog to go up (she’s a 50 pound hound/lab cross). However, during training, she kept trying to jump off halfway to get down. Since she’s not supposed to be jumping, we temporarily placed a pile of blankets next to the ramp so if she falls/jumps, it’s on a soft surface. We guided her up the first few times and I usually hold the ramp just to make sure it doesn’t move since she’s still getting used to it. She now has used it about 20 times and we noticed if she goes up fast, she’s ok, but if she goes up slow, the carpet is slippery. Today, she hesitated and that caused her to slide off and now she’s terrified of it. I think I’ll have to do what others on here have done and get just some non-stick strips for added traction and then add some railings on the outside so she can’t fall off/jump off. Overall, I still think it’s worth getting as this is the only ramp I’ve been able to even get her to go up! I would buy this again, but do agree with others it may need some tweaks, depending on your dog. We use it for a chair my dog has claimed as her own since my bedroom was too small to use it against our bed. It was the perfect height for our bed and would work great for that if you have a large enough bedroom, but works fine with the chair - we just adjusted the placement of the ramp to make the height work.

It Really Works!!
I searched, it seems, forever to find a solution for our 3yo 70 lb. Lab to get up on our very high bed without continually lifting her and straining our (well, mine!) backs. I chose this one because of the positive reviews, gradual and sturdy incline, flat platform at the top and affordability. My husband put it together with ease in less than an hour...it is heavy, so I knew that I wouldn't be moving it around. We put this on one side of the bed, leaving about a 12" space to the wall which made it less scary for her without a railing. I stood in that space to train so she would come up to me while being reassured but staying very close to her either petting her, tapping the ramp with treats on it to coax her before moving a little further so she'd do it on her own. Our girl was skeptical, for sure, at first but with a calming voice, lots of praise and either chicken or beef to coax and reward her (she gets that anyway), she made progressive baby steps as she tested it. It took only a few days! I let her go as far as she was comfortable each time and didn't force her. Just praise and treats! Then repeat same thing several hours later. For the next couple of days, I still had to use some treats but less of them as she went up the ramp on her own a little further each time. Then, total SUCCESS!! And, tons of praise when she was on the bed! She doesn't even go all the way to the flat platform at the top of the ramp...just far enough where she can climb up onto the bed with ease. It hasn't been long and she goes up this (and sometimes down it if she doesn't jump off the bed) all by herself without either of us even being in the room many times a day. The width is good although I feel like it could be maybe several inches wider, but it's working. I think the proximity to the wall aids in sort of a visual railing. I read about "slippery carpet" and can see why some feel that it is an issue. So far, our girl isn't experiencing that but I think, in time, it could be something that we may have to address. It is rather thin. I didn't want to add/introduce something different to it at this point when it's working as is. And, maybe it won't be an issue. If it becomes one, we can easily remedy it and it wasn't a deal breaker. We keep her nails trimmed once a month so I think that will help that she won't snag it or tear it in anyway. We are both very happy with this product and I just figured that the initial cost is well worth it if it protects her from any injuries and us as well. She is a happy pup and loves snoozing on our bed with a big window for her to look out while she's on it. I wasn't happy about having a ramp in our room, but where it is located, it is unobtrusive and I can easily slide it over on our wood floors (it could easily be moved on carpet/rug as well) to either make the bed or change sheets. I looked heavily into a folding ramp, but decided that that, too, would be heavy and cumbersome defeating the purpose of straining our back. Love this so far and highly recommend!
