VViViD® XPO Silver Brushed Steel Car Wrap Vinyl Roll with Air Release Technology (1.49ft x 5ft)

I covered my dishwasher. It was easy to apply and looked like I got a new dishwasher!

Love my car, but wanted a little change. I originally spent $200 for cut pieces from another place, but when I got them they only covered the face of each trim piece. As you'll notice from the pictures they are inset around the vents and also go over the top and bottom too. Would've looked funny. Also, they have a more permanent glue which could ruin the original trim if you try to remove down the road.Anyway, they refunded my money and then I found Vvivid vinyls. You can't beat the price and best of all, if you want a new look next year it can be removed without damaging anything. :) One roll covered all 7 pieces of wood trim on my 3 series, but I cut everything right to size first so no room for error.The corners are more difficult, but if you REALLY take your time you can make it look seamless. A couple of my corners aren't perfect, but I think I'm the only one that notices. I had to heat and stretch the corners a lot. If you get something with more of a pattern I think stretching would mess with the pattern. Give it a try, it's worth the time and $$$

Great wrap. Color is right and it goes on smooth. Just make sure you prep the surface properly.

So from what I can tell, most negative reviews are from incorrect use. Not all vinyl is created the same depending on the print. This one in particular is thinner than what a regular gloss black vinyl wrap would be. It will change color quickly if you apply too much heat that will happen, so you just need to be very slow and careful. Overall, I am happy with the product, you just need patience.

1. Brushed lines were vertical to the wrap. Not a problem but it should be noted.2. Wrap is extremely hard to work with if you have to work complex corners. If you are working a simple area that is fairly flat you should be good.3. Wrap tore when being pulled. wrapping truck grill on a bench (so I can't be even pulling hard) and wrap tears in the middle. Under normal room temp and never heated. Literally tore where I was pulling ruining the wrap beyond repair.After the tear the product was trash. So please do yourself a favor and avoid this product like the plague. I expected more from a company like VViVid , I will stick to 3m from here on out.

Not easy to apply by any means, but as far as vinyl goes, it's definitely easier than other brands and I was impressed. It's forgiving around corners, very stretchy when heated, and could look very nice as a product. I deducted two stars because I found it on the vvivid website and it's NOT brushed steel. It's brushed CHROME steel which is much more reflective. Since I wrapped the fender inside the house, it looked less shiny, but when I took it outside it was blinding. I'm not going to try to return it now because I cut a big piece off the roll, but I don't like it and I'm a bit disappointed in that. Other than that, It works well and looks like it has quality.

Looks great but installation can be tricky however with a good amount of effort all wrinkles can be removed 96% where is not noticeable.
