The quality of the images you get at night is amazing, motion sensing is great and you can change the zones and create blind spots on the camera if needed. Also can switch to people only which eliminates cars driving by, which is an issue I had with being by the road. I got camera with my security system and I ended up buy 2 more for inside and 3 for outside I loved them that much. Add the solar panel and you won’t have to worry about the battery and charging them. I can’t give an accurate account on the battery as I’ve never used just them. I’ll be adding more cameras in the future to cover the whole property

I'm a fan of RING devices (and Echo devices, and Blink devices, etc..). I like smart products.The RING products are no exception. I have purchased many of the doorbells and cameras to install in several houses. This helps my elderly parents to know when someone comes onto the porch or driveway, plus allows us to keep a recording of movement around the houses.Once you learn and install one of these devices, the rest are easy. The doorbell cameras might be the trickiest.This particular stickup camera and solar panel are super easy to setup and configure. The solar panel works great to charge the battery during the sunny day - and then the battery works all night with no problem. I have yet to have one fail because of the battery going dead. Even on cloudy days or during morning/evening hours, they are still charging.Configuration is flexible. You can be notified of motion on your phone, or record motion, and even make a chime in the house make a noise (sold separately). The RING doorbell even shows the video and sound on my TV and Echo Show.Solid products that are extremely useful if you're a home owner.

This is the easiest and has a better pic quality than my ring doorbell camera! This is my second one! Literally second for me to install with no help from my husband!

Very wide angle lens. Very clear picture. Would like my voice/alarm to be louder so intruders could actually hear it from the second floor of my home.

need to buy an extra battery they can take 2 will work with 1 but 2 last longer

I have had this exterior ring camera connected to my ring system for about six months to look over my vehicles that are parked in a pretty far away auxiliary shed/parking structure. It works well and has kept its charge with the solar panels pointed at the sun for most of the day. It is responsive to movement and I have found the recording and notice time adequate. The only issue I had was the wifi range required me to put a wifi extender in my garage to extend my wifi further out into a structure I had about 30 - 40 feet away from the house, which pointed at the parking structure which was probably another 50 feet away. Worked well enough and you can zoom in to get a good view of anything that is happening.

Very good cameras and the app is very user friendly. It took a little tweaking to get the motion zone and sensitivity set how we wanted it. I also bought two indoor cameras that I was going to put inside the house facing outside through a window, this did not work as I had planned because of the glare that the camera put on the window at night. During the day it would be fine but it does not work at night. I have a front and back covered porches on my home so I mounted them outside and they aren’t really exposed to the elements since the porches are covered so I am not worried about them getting wet. Overall we are pleased with all 3 cameras we have and the solar panel is great, I haven’t had to worry about the battery in the outdoor camera. They have all been running for 3 months without any issues. I will say that if you buy more than 1 camera you will only have a month free then you will have to pay monthly/yearly your camera….but if you buy a second camera you can activate it the day your trial ends and you can get another month free. So if you buy 12 cameras and activated 1 a month you would get a year without having to pay for the subscription.

Love the ability to look into my backyard and the surrounding areas.
