If so how long will it ring?** A: The instruction manual says "When the countdown timer reaches 0:00:00, the timer will beep and flash for 1 minute and start to count up." So I specifically tested for this and it's correct. After 1 minute, the beep and flash automatically stop although if you press the start/stop button before 1 minute, the beep/flash stop immediately. It's a good basic timer, I like it - and when you're not using it as a timer, it doubles as a clock (time of day) if that's of any interest. **Q: Does this timer count up after countdown complete?** A: I just tried it, and yes it does count up when the countdown is complete. **Q: Why can't I set the time?** A: This will sound silly and inconvenient . When you remove one of the batteries & replace it, clock will read 12:00 AM. So at 12:00 midnite , remove one of the batteries & replace immediately & the clock will now read the correct time. You can use this method until someone else has a better idea **Q: Can you input a time to count up from? Like input 00:15:00 and begin counting up from there?** A: no ## Frequently Bought Together - ThermoPro TM01 Kitchen Timers for Cooking with Count Up Countdown Timer, Digital Timer for Kids Students with Touch Backlight, Study Timers for Classroom Teacher Supplies - ThermoPro TM02 24 Hours Digital Timer with Dual Kitchen Timers for Cooking, Stop Watches Magnetic Timer Clock with Adjustable Alarm Volume & LCD Backlit Display, Classroom Timer for Kids & Teachers - ThermoPro TP19H Digital Meat Thermometer for Cooking with Ambidextrous Backlit and Motion Sensing Kitchen Cooking Food Thermometer for BBQ Grill Smoker Oil Fry Candy Instant Read Thermometer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/171123533-temppro-tm01-2-in-1-kitchen-timers-for-cooking-12](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/171123533-temppro-tm01-2-in-1-kitchen-timers-for-cooking-12) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
