I went to Guitar Center for the exact solution this USB-C to 6.35mm 1/4 inch TS Audio Cable provides. They said no such device existed and sold me $100 interface. Since then I found this cable and can do the same function to connect the audio from my phone or iPad into my guitar amp. I'm very happy with this simple cable. The sound quality is professional level and all I needed.
