Automotive Authority LLC® 48V Golf Cart Digital Volt Meter Battery Gauge for Use On Club Car EZGO Yamaha 48 Volt - Blue

Installed on Club Car Precedent. This meter is not very accurate (between 1% to 1.5% accuracy at best). However, it will work as a general "battery condition" meter and that was my intent. Wired it through the key switch so it is only "on" when running the golf cart. Used an unused ground lead that was behind the dash panel (Club Car OEM dash harness -black/wht lead) so was able to use the supplied leads with the meter (crimped spade connectors on them. NOTE: No need to go all the way to the battery string). Cut the required rectangular hole in dash panel with a Dremel Tool just below and to the right of the steering column using the back of this unit as a template. Very quick and painless install. So far it works great and looks good. For around $10.00 the accuracy is not all that bad.

I have used these meters for years on carts I have sold. It is necessary to check battery voltage while the cart is moving to detect problems rather than rely on the idiot light which only tells you when you are out of power.

My hu installed very quickly, works great. We drive around the neighborhood a lot so it’s very handy to have to not risk running out of charge. Great product for the money

The volt meter gives me the same readings as my digital multi-meter, so it seems to be pretty accurate. Wiring is easy with the hot wire of the meter (red) connected to my key switch and the ground wire (black) connected to the (-) terminal of the last battery in my battery pack. However, the brightness of the display leaves something to be desired. It is very difficult to read on a cloudy day much less in bright sunlight. It's great in the dark, but I rarely drive my golf cart at night.

This was a great addition to my wifes' 1998, 48 volt Club car. After replacing the charge gauge meter that had gone bad and left us not having a way to know the condition of our battery pack condition , I decided to add this digital meter to monitor the battery bank voltage at all times even while it is on the charger. She loves it and so do I ....

Works great. Clear instructions. Easy to install. Could use a template for installation, but I won't give it four stars just because I'm lazy. ******UPDATE 07/6/2019******* This gauge melted down while driving. No evidence of damaged wires and nothing wrong with the cart. It just got hot and melted. Looking for something the same size or larger to fill the hole in the dash. Whatever..

Pretty straight forward install. I added an on/off switch inline so it wouldn't be on unless I wanted to see it. Put it on the top sun visor on my golf cart. 48 volt. Works good.

Bought one of these in green years ago for golf cart. It is still working, so I purchased in blue for new cart. Works great!
