Fantastic quality product!
This was way more than what I expected for the money. For almost ten years I have wanted and longed for a watch box, but could never find one for less than 70 or 80 dollars. And it just wasn't worth that to me. Well, I finally looked on Amazon and found this one for less than 25 and so it seemed like an obvious one-click purchase. But when it got here, I was shocked to see the ridiculous quality of the product. It way exceeds my expectations. And I don't mean I thought it would be crap and it's fair. No, I thought it would be junk and it's completely awesome. The watch holders themselves feel very nice and of heavy, good quality material. They also fit very snugly down into the slots. The window on top is very nice too, especially when your box is full of watches. The overall quality is just really superb. The cons: The latch is okay. Not fantastic, but it works. It's just a little awkward trying to open the box with one hand while the other squeezes both sides of the latch. It's not difficult, but it isn't just quick and easy either. It seems like it needs something else for you to grip to make it easier. The little ribbon that runs from the lid to the base on the left side that keeps the lid from falling back (opening too far) gets in the way when you close the lid. It's either outside the box, or lying over on one of your watch faces. Now this might not bother you, but I'm an OCD perfectionist, and I want all my watches to be put away the same, and nicely. And not covered with a ribbon. But I also realize this is peanuts. It's not a real problem with the watch box at all. If this is the worst thing I can find to gripe about, it's a non-issue entirely. Overall, I would highly recommend this handsome furniture topper for your collection.

Really Nice (for the price)
There are already so many reviews on this product that there is little left to add which has not already been mentioned. But, to add my voice to the chorus, it's very nice, nicer than I expected. There are specialty shops in most large malls which sell similar boxes albeit at twice to three times the price. The case's construction is attractive and masculine looking and despite it's inexpensive materials, it should age fairly well. In my experience someone will manage to break the glass top within a few years anyway. The individual cubicles are softly lined with a jewelry store quality felt like material and each contains a little firmly curved cushion to attach the watch. Removed they leave an opening great for storing rings, cuff links, tie clasps or whatever. The humorously worded printed warnings that come with the case belie it's far eastern origins but considering it's price, it's really attractive. I have a few watches, all in the under $300 price category and most very utilitarian. The watches look great in their little cubicles and the valet provides an attractive, organized and protective environment to store and display them. If I had a few Tags, Rolex's, Omega's I would certainly opt for a finely crafted hardwood case but if I had that kind of money..., well you get the idea. For my modest watches this fits the need perfectly. I find it very GQ' ish in a entry level sort of way. My wife says "oh, you're a fancy boy now" and in my best Seinfeld imitation I reply, yes I am.

Can't go wrong, great deal
I'm not sure where else you can find a deal as good as this. The watch case is high quality and stylish. I bought 2 of these (gave one to my husband and I kept one). The case works great for my husband's watches but not so much for mine. I realize this is listed as a men's case but I couldn't find a women's case I liked that was inexpensive and thought I could make this work. If all my watches had the buckle closures, it would work like a charm. But, most of mine have different closures. The watch forms that are included aren't able to be compressed so I can't close many of my watches. I figured I would just make my own watch "pillows" (I ended up using some that came with a few of my watches). Other than that, the case has a great depth so the glass doesn't hit the watch faces when closed. Update (7.22.2016) - Still loving this case! I ended up making "pillows" for all my watches and it worked out perfectly. I think one of the perks of buying a men's case is that there's more room for each watch, since men's watches are typically larger. Since most of my watches are on the bulkier side, this works perfectly. Right now I have 2 full cases so I plan on buying a 3rd one for my growing collection.

Not too bad for the price
After reading some reviews that stated that I may or may not receive a cheap version and might receive a better quality version, I decided to chance it and order it early enough to be able to get an exchange as this would be a Christmas gift. I did receive the "cheaper version". The faux leather isn't a horrible quality for the price, but it is just nice plastic. I didn't notice a overpowering plastic smell, it's just what I would expect from something new. I won't return it but there are three tiny problems I have: the partition that separates the watches comes off completely and you can tell it's just sturdy cardboard. The top latch on the lock is just a tiny bit crooked. It's not horribly out of place, the box still locks, but it's noticeable enough from up close. The lock is basically just glued on so the locking feature and the two keys that come with it are just for show, but I'm not worried about my boyfriend trying to keep his watches safe solely with this case anyways. Finally, there is a tiny little piece of the faux leather in one bottom corner of the case that is scratched off, but since it's on the bottom, nobody will see it. These things don't warrant me to return it, but it makes me wonder how long the case will hold up. Maybe when it reaches it's end, I'll gift my boyfriend a much better quality case. For now, this will do. I will update on how he likes it and if his large watch faces fit into it (maybe even update on how long it takes to fall apart). Post Christmas Update: he loved the case. Most of his watches fit nicely (including his Invictas), but he owns one Armani Exchange watch with a face that is enormous. It sits above the partitions, but there is plenty of space between the watches and the glass so it's easy to make the larger watch faces rise above the others without worrying about the glass of the case hitting the watches. So far so good.

For <$30, Great Investment
First, my entire watch collection is worth less than $1,500. It consists of a beater Casio, two G-Shocks and a Luminox I wear in the military, an old Fossil that holds a special place en mi corazon, and two Citizen Eco-Drives. That latter two watches (about $250-$350 a piece) are the reason I decided I needed a better solution to watch storage that in my Rubbermaid treasure chest which I use as a do-it-all storage for items I use often. After purchasing the two Citizens I have decided I like the idea of investing a little more in a watch collection. While I won't go into my future plans (cough Tag, JLC, Breitling, Raymond Weil, cough), I still felt a $300 watch needed a better way to be taken care of than in their cases inside a large storage chest. The case itself looks great. The leather feels good, the stitching looks good, and the glass is clear. The little locking mechanism is a nice feature also, and it comes with two keys. If you are thinking to yourself, this is going to be Fort Knox---STOP right there. Don't worry this won't be the review for a fire safe that says "This was too easy to get into!" Like an personal fire safe, this is NOT meant to deter criminals or actually secure your valuables. It is meant to organize and display them. For me, this case will likely end up inside my large gun safe where the humidy is already controlled, theft is best prevented, and the rare instance of a fire is best combated. All of my watches listed fit perfectly fine on the little pillows, and none of the watches were too large for the spaces. If you have an gotti Invicta dive watch, then this might be a different story. For me, this is the largest watch I own and it fit fine: http://www.amazon.com/Citizen-AT4010-50E-Perpetual-Chrono-Watch/dp/B005BS2ENC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396018381&sr=8-1&keywords=Citizen+AT+410 (Btw if you like that watch, you can find it a lot cheaper at Macy's during sales... I don't have that exact color, but it's the same model) If you have moderately, middle class can afford watches, then this is a great investment. As a final side note, there is a little fabric connector between the base and the lid which holds it at 90 degrees when open. This feature is not visible in the picture. 5/5 stars, no complaints.

Great Value for the Money
Just received my watch case. It came double boxed and was really well packaged. The inner box had foam on top of the glass and the whole thing was also covered in a plastic wrap. Much better than what you usually see. Since the case was relatively cheap, I expected the usual low quality manufacturing. I was pleasantly surprised. The glass top is really glass, and the whole thing looks quite attractive. The top opens easily, the inserts are nice and sturdy. I was even happier when I saw that my larger Casio watches had room in the compartments. Usually they are too tight to fit well. I managed to fit my whole Casio collection in this case. The solar models are in the center so that they can still catch some light while protected in the box. I highly recommend this case, probably the best one in this price range. I would buy another if I needed more room for watches.

This is a beautiful product, somehow bigger than I personally imagined it
This is a beautiful product, somehow bigger than I personally imagined it, but it would have to be in order to hold all the watches. So measure it out before you decide if you want to get it. My room suddenly feels a little smaller with this huge box in it. Mine came with a really nice note, a cleaning cloth, and two small keys, which were somehow a nice surprise because it made the product seem fancier than I imagined. The side of the "pillows" do seem to have cardboard pieces that popped off in shipping, but you can easily push these back in. They also create a small "secret gap" for maybe rings, earrings, or cash, so that's cool also, not that a jewelry box or ANY sort is a good place to hide anything. There was also a left side-ribbon that helped keep the lid from swinging open and hitting whatever surface you had it on, but it also tended to cover the corner watches, so I took some effort to pull this out and I like the product a little better this way. At under $20, it is a really nice item that seems to keep everything together, so definitely a great buy.

love my watch case!
I bought this to hold my watches, now they are womens watches but I do have some large face watches and they fit perfect in here. The material and look of it is very nice and the glass top makes it even better for my solar watches so they can charge! I wish it didn't have the front lock on it, because unfortunately it has to be opened by squeezing the sides of the lock together. Not a big deal and I knew that's how it had to open so I didn't give it less stars because it is stated in the description, but it does have a key for the lock if you did want to lock it. I am actually going to buy one for my husband too because he has some large face watches also (Nixons) and I didn't think they would fit but they do, so I hope that helps in gauging for size. For the price its a great value!
