The Child Toy The Mandalorian 6.5-Inch Posable Action Figure, Toys for Kids Ages 4 and Up

After pre-ordering back in December, it's great to finally have toys of "The Child!" This is a simple, well-executed, large figure, that isn't to scale with any specific Star Wars figure series. It's a hard plastic action figure, for the most part, with a firm rubbery material used for some parts, like the ears. It is roughly 6.5 inches tall. The sculpt is well-detailed; the head, in particular, is very detailed, and captures the adorable likeness of "baby Yoda" very well. The rest of the figure could have used a bit more paint to bring out the detail, but that is a pretty minor gripe. The figure only has 3 point of articulation, but they are ball joints at the neck and both shoulders, so you can get some good poses- the right hand is in a good "Force using pose." The robe goes down to the ground, and there are no sculpted feet. It seems very sturdy- if you are looking for a kid-friendly "baby Yoda" toy, this is a great choice. I bought it more for myself, but my 3.5 year old daughter loves it. NOTE: This figure is in an open box- mine was sent, with zero protection, by Amazon in a coarse brown paper mailer. Luckily, it arrived unscathed, but could very easily have been damaged, especially the paint on the face. If you order it, try to contact Amazon to get ti shipped in a box, if possible. As this has nothing to do with the product itself, I did not factor it in to my rating.

Absolutely adorable!!! In my search for a reasonably priced Grogu figure as an adult gift, I came across this little guy. I read reviews before buying, so i did know he doesnt have a body under his garment. He was delivered quickly and has no flaws. The rubbery plastic material of the body and garment look quite realistic. The eyes are also realistic as well. Just hands down adorable. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. Our family has begun positioning him in different scenes all around the house. The past 2 days of giggles in the the house has been well worth the $16.99 paid for him. I will also be ordering another for a 4ft star wars tree for next christmas. The hollow body will make it a perfect tree topper!

I knew that it would just be a matter of time before the iconic "Baby Yoda" found its way into the toy market. This version is not really something that is to be played with. It's pretty much just a display piece that has some limited articulation. But the rendering of the figure is so perfect and it's not overly large. But, it's just large enough. I have a movie room in which I display various collectibles and this fits in perfectly with the decor. If you are looking for a version of "the child" that makes sounds or is cuddly, this is not what you want. But, if you want an awesome figure that can be displayed and look great, then this is for you.

Just received this item. Long awaited as I'm a super fan of the new Mandalorian and ordered this lil guy back in December. Quality is well done, very realistic to series, should be bought by everyone ... I have spoken! Ears and hands are flexible, arms and head move smoothly ... Beady eyes are cute and almost too real. I can see what Mando saw ... This is the way. I do look forward to accessories (the bowl or frog would be awesome) ... But, the child is great as is until then.

I love baby Yoda like love him so much his cuteness literally brought me to tears in the Show... lol. But this figure wasn’t great the likeness yes he looks like him. He’s small 6” while holding him there’s more to be desired he’s Posable and hard vinyl he is and cute but for the price mine as well pay a few more dollars and get the 11” which I ordered and still waiting on. I’ll be returning this little guy cute but I feel like for the value mine as well get the larger one.
