Question 1

Can someone recommend a good lead-free pellet for this? For target practice, and one that is good for small game or pest control.

Accepted Answer

The other response saying squirrel kill at a max of 7 yards is incorrect. I speak from experience, in my youth I used this rifle with a simple tasco scope to kill thousands of ground squirrels over summer breaks. The wood pile was 15 to 20 yards from my sniper spot. Yes you need a head shot between the eye and ear. I rarely pumped that gun more than the 10 recommended. It dropped them everytime and I don't recall ever missing.

Question 2

Is this gun quiet enough to shoot in a residential areas?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is about as quiet as they come, especially when using less than full power (10 pumps, but that's pretty quiet too); try to use full power only if absolutely necessary. Some neighbors may freak regardless of how quiet it is -- head 'em off by: 1) keep things friendly and talk with them (see #4). 2) check local and homeowners association/renter regulations regarding bb guns/pellet rifles -- if it's okay it's okay. 3) make sure no pellet can (or ever does) leave your own yard. 4) let them know all of your careful safety precautions, for example "The targets absorb whatever is shot into them, but there are two large tarps/blankets/whatever hanging behind everything and just in case there's a 4x8 piece of 1/2 to 1 inch plywood behind that -- or instead of plywood, a wall of dry-laid cinderblocks or bricks or whatever behind and to each side of the tarps." Just do what you can to make sure nothing can get out of your yard, even missed shots. Keep it safe, be open and friendly with everyone and your neighbors should not only be cool with your plinking, they very well might join you! Good shooting! :-)

Question 3

What color is this gun?brown or black.?

Accepted Answer

The plastic synthetic stock and foregrip is a dark brown with black trim. The foregrip has a black diamond design in the center.

Question 4

does it include bbs

Accepted Answer

No, you have to buy BBs or pellets depending on what you want to use. They are inexpensive and available anywhere ammunition is sold.
