Every nodule has a center seam that scratches the f* out if your skin, causing skin iritation in order to relieve pain ... go figure!!Cutting corners in manuf to save on cost.Gets 2-stars in pain relief for that reason.Also would have preferred the nodule at the end if the arch to have been round, rather an oblong point (most likely needed to alter so as not to infringe upon Theracane's trademarks.)

My physical therapist used one of these on my back and recommended I buy one because it really helps. This theracane is light weight and easy to use.

I suffer from crazy tight para spinal muscles between my shoulder blades. When I get a flare up, no amount of stretching brings relief. I saw a theracane at physical therapy and asked what it was. Cause let's be honest, it looks like a giant scary candy cane. The lady handed it to me, explained how to use it and I was blown away. I went straight home and ordered one. It lets me reach my mid back and I'm in control of the pressure. I can easily pin point my knots and dig right in. I've been using it on my neck and shoulders too. I can't believe I was living life without this thing. My 13yo daughter even uses it when she gets an ache or pain. There are multiple points/nubs so it really can work wherever you need it. Came with a little pamphlet showing how to hold it for different regions. LOVE this thing.

I purchased this cane to treat neck issues. I had used one that was crafted a bit different and found it perfect to target pressure points on my neck, releasing tension and improving range of motion as well as head ache. This particular model is not round but compressed and has a pronounced rounded spine on the end that provides a more intense pressure on a single point. I found it a bit too pointed for my liking although very effective. During use it gives me a temporary head ache because it is so intense. Also the compressed cane makes it only useful in a 90 degree angle to the point, if you turn it slightly to the side it tends to collapse to the side. Using it does really help relieve my neck issues but I am returning this on to get the rounded cane model with the simple knob on the end.
