First wash was just these in machine on 30c on 30min wash came out well. These are mainly to be used for PE once back in school so only will be used a short time each wk. If used more often then they might fade if you have dark colour I ordered the navy.

Q: Is the waist adjustable?

You can pull them in tighter using the cord

Q: Are these proper drawstring at the waist or just for show?

Honestly I can’t remember as they were so oversized lol just gave them away as they didn’t match size of jacket even though stated same size, I honestly would order from another company on here these are useless takes forever

Q: There is no tracksuit for age 6-7 would you go up or down in size?

From my experience with children and grandchildren, I would always go up a size.
