I have always had fine but thick hair, but something has been going on in my body, including major hair loss. I was losing a sandwich size baggie full of hair each time I shampooed my hair. The doctor had "no idea." A friend of a friend teaches about homeopathic medicine...even to doctors who are interested in learning. She told me to take this specific brand of biotin and give it about 6-8 weeks. IT WORKED!! After I saw the results, the doctor sent me a message saying studies show that biotin does not help with hair loss. I told her she was looking at the wrong studies because it worked for me... at least this one did. I'm so done with pharmaceutical drugs!

Easy to swallow, and has helped with my hair and nails

I’ve had problems with my nails splitting and peeling. I used a different product containing Biotin for awhile. I changed to this one and my nails no longer split and peel, they are stronger than ever. I’ve also noticed a difference in my hair and skin. Capsules are small and easy to swallow.

My girlfriend likes this brand and this dosage. She has been using it for a long time and says it thickens her hair by keeping it from shedding as much. It seems to make a real difference at the 5 mgs. She tried a different brand once but did get the same effect.

It is hard to rate something like this. How could we possibly know the effect? However, I'd like to give feedback to the manufacturers of biotin supplements. The amounts in these capsules is far too much. The dosing should be less than a tenth of what it is. I manage by opening the capsule and putting some of the contents directly in oatmeal. I then close the capsule back up for another day. Why????? can't you sell a lower dose?

I've been using this product for years to combat weak & splitting nails. Although I've tried many other brands of biotin, I always end up coming back to Country Life. It seems like 5 mg of biotin should be the same across other brands, but my fingernails tell a different story. The only downside is my nails also seem to grow faster, so I end up having to cut & file them every two weeks. It's a small price to pay for stronger nails, especially since nail polish always starts to come off within days of putting it on. With biotin, I can let my nails stay bare, and they hold up for the activities I pursue.

Have been taking this brand biotin for years. No breakouts, improve nail health and help with hair growth. Delivery was fast. Product is legitimate.

I was advised to take biotin to improve the quality of my hair and nails, and it does seem to work. I like the Country Life brand of biotin because the capsules are small, easy to swallow, and tasteless. Check with your doctor, but generally biotin is worth a try if you are trying to grow stronger nails and hair.
