Tarot ReVISIONed - Deck of Cards (22 Major Arcana)

This is not a typical Tarot deck. First, it is only the 22 major arcana and the backs each carry a quote appropriate to the archetypal image. The card stock and size does not lend itself easily to shuffling; but as a source of inspiration does not diminish the quality of the item IMO. I highly recommend the book Tarot ReVisioned by the artist - author Leigh McClosekey as it contains the same images but in a much larger size so the details are easier to see. The book also serves as a true grimoire of Tarot philosophy and goes far beyond the divinatory applications into spiritual wisdom.

Items came in excellent packaging and condition. A different view on the tarot, very meaningful and touchesupon the sub conscious levels.I first learned of this tarot while visiting LA and saw a flyer posted at the Bohdi Tree Store that the creator Leigh McClosky was speaking there about the book and tarot. Never forgot the images I saw on the flyer and was drawn to purchase the deck. That was back in 2003 and still have more to learn. A sign of a good tarot deck.

These are beautiful cards! They are, as the others reviewers have said, bigger then normal tarot cards but I got them more for reflection and the art and less for tarot readings. Thank you!

The images on these cards are beautiful, but I was a little disappointed in the actual card stock. For the price I expected something more like an actual tarot card stock. The cards are quite thin, like 5x7 index cards. Sharp 90 degree corners (not rounded) and a matt finish, not smooth like a regular card deck.

Words cannot describe this amazing work. It must be seen and experienced to truly appreciate it's depth.
