I don't usually write reviews, but I think it is imporant to let people know that this digital otoscope really works, and continues to work with a beautifully clear picture.I purchased a cheaper brand a few months ago. It was amazing the first time I tried it. The second time I turned it on, the picture was fuzzy, and the third time, no picture at all. All within the space of two weeks.I still needed an otoscope, so I decided to try this one. It has a great picture, and it's own hand-held screen device so you don't have to use your cell phone and try to download software to make it work. And most important it works! The first time, the second time, the tenth time, and the last time I used it yesterday. I still get a beautiful image (if you can count the inside of someone's ear beautiful) that has not decreased in clarity from the first time I used it.I waited four months to write this review because I wanted to see if this otoscope died prematurely. I have now used it enough to feel certain that it will continue to work for a good long time. For yourself or for someone you care for, this is easy to use, the battery charge lasts almost forever, and the picture quality is great. And it turns out, it's actually kind of fun to look inside everybody's ears!Bottom line: if you need a digital otoscope, or you just want to stalk people and look inside their ears, (trust me, it's kind of addicting) then this is the one to buy.

Excellent customer service. The device worked wonderfully until it stopped holding a charge. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement right away. My family and I have had loads of fun examining each other’s ears (who knew earwax could be a competition?). The camera revealed that my sister had compacted wax and dried skin blocking most of her eardrum... something she suspected but had to see to believe it. The discovery prompted her to see a professional for removal. It’s surprisingly useful, oddly satisfying, and a little too entertaining!”

Easy to use, pictures are clear. Have option to savePictures. Don’t have to worry about WiFi connection.

I love that this comes with a monitor to help you navigate through the ear. I noticed some brands will connect to your phone, which isn’t bad but then you have to add an app and it can be a pain. The picture is great - it does mention in the manual that ear wax can sometimes blur or distort the image (because it is waxy and shiny and can mess with the light/camera). It takes some getting used to if you are trying to use this on yourself - I would recommend having someone help out the first few times until you can get the hang of it! I would only recommend going it once a day or your ears will be a little sore. My husband had a lot of wax and tried to do it in the morning, afternoon, and at night and complained that his ears were sore (which makes sense since he was messing with them all day lol). I do recommend taking a shower prior to using it because hot air/water will loosen any ear wax and make it easy to scrap out. It does come with a few attachments which have a hard plastic scooper to remove the ear wax. It does not hurt your ear if you are not rough with it - you have to get used to using it. I will say if you go too deep in your ear it will be very sensitive even if you are gentle do please be careful. This was definitely worth the price! It is rechargeable and comes with a charging cable. It charges pretty quickly (I think it took an hour or less to be fully charged/ready). Make sure you are cleaning the tools before and after each use! Great tool for any age!

We purchased this due to some symptoms my wife was having in her ear, feeling like she had "water" in her ear.We had been trying for several days to use earwax softener/irrigation, thinking perhaps she had an earwax blockage in her ear, however didn't have success removing anything.So we went ahead and ordered this otoscope, thinking what have we got to lose?Once it arrived, we used it and immediately confirmed the presence of a very large, hard, and adherent globule of earwax. It took a few days to get it out, but thankfully, this scope helped us to see which areas of the blockage were breaking down, which subsequently aided us in directing the irrigation stream to facilitate adequate flow to remove the earwax.After we finally got it all out, we were able to confirm it was all removed, and additionally, that my wife actually had a perforated eardrum due to a nasty inner ear/sinus infection that had been plaguing her for weeks. With the images we got, we were able to upload and share them with our Doctor on Demand video session, and she subsequently got the diagnosis confirmation AND meds she needed.Overall, this unit seems to be well-made and solid. We have had no technical issues, with one exception: we couldn't get the probe to register on the device when we first got it. We finally realized (thanks to a suggestion on these reviews), that we were plugging the probe into the charging port rather than the designated probe port. Here is a hint: the probe port is on the same side as the locking button.).The user interface could maybe use some inprovement, as it doesn't seem very intuitive to access all of the features, but that is not a deal breaker, as it has more features than what we expected.The picture quality is surprisingly crisp. I work in surgery, and am use to handling endoscopes of all types for various procedures, so I feel quite qualified in my statement that the image quality of this little otoscope is completely acceptable.Overall, we are very happy with our "investment" (yes, it may be a tad more pricey than some others), and wholly recommend it!

Great, works as advertised! Easy to use. Camera works greatHad pain in ear for over a month.This device helped finding the cause of the pain. Be careful of wearing detachable earbuds (earplug) when sleeping. I believe wax dried around it and affixed skin and earbud so when using a cotton swab there was immense pain. Finally relief!
