I fitted these G9 bulbs in a ceiling light that I had installed and I’m pleased with the results. The warm white tone has a comfortable glow that is nice for living rooms or bedrooms. The fact that they are dimmable is a real plus giving some flexibility for softer mood lighting when needed. One thing to note is that while the bulbs work well, they are only rated at 18W which is equivalent to around 26W in traditional terms. If you are expecting very high brightness you might find them a touch softer than some other ones at least in my experience. One of the bulbs for me has blown out but this was after a while so i'm not overly upset about that. Overall they are a good buy if you want a warm, dimmable halogen bulb that offers good quality and good value for money.

Only thing is they’re not very bright

These bulbs are only lasting for 2-3 months. While they’re working they are bright enough, they need patience to fit them in and a swear box handy!
